Now that I think about it, maybe DNA Design could make a new shell for Elita 1 to make her turn into her classic vehicle form since they usually do complements to figures (and they can also make one for Arcee to stop her from looking like a bland box).

 

Really digging Ironhide. I'm hoping Toyhax makes some stoner van mural stickers for him. A mural of G1 Box Battle art would be amazing!

 

Are my eyes deceiving me or do Sunstreaker' s wheels almost look as though they're CHROMED?

 

These new figures they revealed look good. I had a feeling they would remold Earthrise Cliffjumper into Bumblebee.

Hmm... That's still a decent amount of figures (for $715+) to be so disappointed with this years line vs 2019. Plus there's on been 1 wave and I only bought 5 figures from that.

 

Well, as long as the g1 craze is still here, I'll enjoy it. I honestly think Sunstreaker looks really good, and even though Bubmlebee is stretching the partsforming thing, I dont mind. I wanna get most of the cars from Earthrise, and that Netflix Optimus aswell. Ironhide, Ratchet, and Inferno(if he exists) are a must have. After that, I might get some of the bots from SS86, and I think my g1 autobot collection will be complete for a good while. I dont really know what decepticons i wanna get, since i only have 3 out of the big 4, with a CB shockwave, and spinister and triggerhappy. Maybe I'll start getting repeat characters when they make a TRUE cybertronian line.
Also, what weaponizers do you think are a must-have?

 

Wait, people believed that Bumblebee wouldn't be a retool? In a lot of continuities, Bumblebee and Cliffjumper's bodies are either only similar, or they're pretty much the same. One of the only continuities I can think of where Bee and Cliff aren't 100% identical outside of their heads is Transformers: Prime.

That was actually my expectation, that if we did get an Earthrise Bumblebee, it would be a retool of Earthrise Cliffjumper.

 

that's a prototype. notice how the yellow plastic isn't painted and there's a big number printed on the hood. the final toy might not look like that.

yep. but I imagine it'll looks like how Sideswipe looks where all the stuff that's suppose to be yellow including the yellow plastic is painted and the parts that are suppose to be silver will be painted with a matte silver. I don't think they use glossy silver or chrome silver for any of the paint on retail releases.
