You know maybe it is him, it does resemble his style. It was a great campaign idea which is part reason why I’m fond of Blesser. He’s unique in that, in a way, his actual real life function was what his bio card says.

 

Is jizai toys still around?

I would murder several people to get his Hardhead, Snapdragon, and Apeface designs.

I have been picking up some of the Titans returns figures as fillers and the prices have gone up on the secondary market with domestic retailers basically long out of stock.

The F(x) ones are bigger, more complicated, likely better articulated - BUT the designs are pretty far along with at least Snapdragon in physical prototype form.

if FP is dead dead, i wonder if someone could buy the design and get out, even with crowdfunding to do a limited run.

I am messing with Smart Robin and remember why i could not stop gushing about it. Probably my favorite transformation ever, the way its so efficient

 

I've never heard that name. Is that the FP designer?

 

Jizai designed most of the Function- X series headmasters. He was known for making some of the earliest hand-made garage kit style 3rd party toys. Several were allowed to be sold as “official” transformers at wonderfest including WST arcee and Ultra Magnus, Cyclones, and Wheelie. His designs were also used (stolen) for KFC Cyclonus, a Wheelie, and Newage Ironhide/Ratchet.

Also does a lot of non-transformer transforming designs.

Were you able to find any compatible weapons to add to his arsenal?

 

I was able to get Riftshot and Recoiler's weapons separately but nothing extra.

 

This ones actually a custom job I had commissioned from a board member here. I liked the idea of a two-headed bot. And both Solerons are able to connect to plug into the Core to form a bigass backpack. Don’t have a pic of that, though.

 

Definitely like Assaulter's jet mode better than the ship/cruiser mode. I like flipping out the little "fins" in the middle of the back/rear as well(looks better in person), even though that is not the official transformation.



Just moved the Diaclone guys around a little and gave Grimlock his throne.

Wow, I hadn't realized how big those "shells" were. They look to be about same size as the LER dinobots?

 

I think they may even be bigger. Still unpacking so may be able to tell you in a bit if some are in alt mode still.

So unpacking unpacking and it's nice to have a setup to where I can have all of this stuff out and accessible again. Brings back a lot of memories of good times in collecting.

 

Do they not go inside them? I thought they were pretender shells.
