So does anybody who actually watched the livestream know why the Quint court set wasnt put up for preorder ? Isnt it supposed to be a Pulse exclusive ? Why show it off if its not gonna be up with the other 3 that dropped today ?

 

This questions me about Thrust.

 

The Quint pack was supposed to be the convention exclusive this year. They said during the livestream that it will go up for preorder in September.

 

We ALL need called out from time to time, helps with the ego.

 

Based on that, If it was supposed to be the SDCC exclusive, and SDCC always happens in July, then why are the preorders not avalible until September?

 

The online release of the SDCC exclusives always come later. Last year, the first under Hasbro Pulse, it happened the first week of September at a specific time with plenty of warning, and split the brands across multiple days. In previous years I want to say Hasbro Toy Shop mostly did August with a specific date but not a specific time, and all brands going up once.

 

I see, I just figured it would be different since SDCC is all online, I would have figured that the supply chain and all involved would have had plenty of time to adjust things and make it either avaliable to buy during SDCC or atleast preorder during SDCC but its ok, as long as everyone is atleast able to get one

 

The supply chain could be delayed, it could be two separate shipments of planned stock (SDCC and pulse.com) and just waiting for both to bother with the online, they may want to create consistency from year to year, and who knows what else. We will never know the reason why. Hopefully not lasts a few minutes this year since there should be more stock for online.

If the funky colored Thrust is called Nacelle, did they ever give the black & red Dirge a name? I ordered a 2nd set from Amazon so I can make a custom G2 Ramjet but I'm trying to figure out what to do with the extra Dirge.

 

It is easy for us old folks to forget how much it sucks to rely on others for transportation. Much worse in rural areas that don't always have much public transportation, and if you're not old enough to drive, you probably aren't old enough to have a job that will pay for a cab/Uber.
