I would love beast machines. Loved the show and characters. The toys on the other hand weren't the best. Some were okay. Others were bad. Like none of them were screen accurate.

I hope so. Otherwise the beastformers would be tiny. I would rather have gaint beasts.

Could it also be playing into this bit of symbolism from the original Beast Wars marketing?

 

So if this is all Beast Wars themed which seems to be case (thank Primus), then who's the titan? To my knowledge, there's no titan sized characters from Beast Wars. Maybe it's just Unicron and no Titan.

The theory that seems to be gaining popularity is that it will be the Ark. It has featured on all 3 posters throughout the Trilogy...

You can also see him in T-Rex mode next to Blackarachnia's head.

 

Which makes it all the more likely that it's his face reflected on the disk. Otherwise, his underlings in Blackarachnia and Scorponok are featured more prominently than he is, which doesn't match his character at all.

 

The usual '80 "Autobots wage their battle to destroy the evil forces of the Decepticons" of the original cartoon. I mean, its not like its a part of the lore that need too much explaining.

 

I really hope they get the old voice cast back together for this. David Kaye stating that he was working on some projects he couldn't disclose has me cautiously optimistic, however the fact that they went with non-union talent for the WFC show so far worries me.

I think the thing obscuring the bottom of the disk is the rear of the Ark. You can see it's thrusters.
