Its too bad you don't have the version with the Chrome missile pods. I have a spare that was replaced because its missile pod wouldn't close correctly, but it doesn't have a broken ball socket of paint issues.



You could try chromeing one of your broken ones with a chrome pen and see what it looks like.

 

well that's just an f'in mess.

 

paint issue was on the painted metal abdomen hinge underneath the figure that was stripping/chipping off, not the missile rockets. this seems to be a common issue and can't be avoided from regular transformation. but it sucks that mine was straight from the box new. when i asked MMC during the warranty process, i was told all their replacement spare parts in the factory all had the paint defect issue.  

 

Is the cel version of this guy in person as green as it looks in photos?

 

In hand he doesn’t have a green tint IMO. Personally, I think the gray should be a bit darker and the toon version certainly doesn’t “pop” like the toy version but I really like it. Had I picked up Ravage when he first came out there is no question that I’d have a Rumble as well. Fingers crossed for a reissue.

 

I already have the original and was just curious. I might just keep it instead of picking up one of these. I definitely need to get their rumble/frenzy combo

 

I want to pick this up but the retail price is $100, that's just beyond absurd. I hope somebody KOs it soon.

 

msrp should be around $65-70. unless it's selling out and your looking at price increase due to limited stock, or at second hand market.

Thanks for continuing to keep us updated. I really wanted this figure but man, it's hard to justify when there's issues like this.

 

don't get me wrong, QC issues aside, i don't regret buying this. it's an amazingly accurate representation of Ravage in my eyes. near perfect in fact. just wish my joy for it wasn't tainted with month's of trying to address the bad QC on it. MMC has been more than helpful with responding to my emails for support. and it seems to be just me with a really crappy string of bad luck.   so i wouldn't hold back picking one up just because of my situation.

 

so waddayano! small update. so didn't take another 2 months to get my replacement replacement leg! just little over 2 weeks this time!  

ravage he's good now. so just won't look at it's under belly too hard from now on.  

but what to do with all the spares.  

 

Thinking about getting the Cel version but the photos I've seen have the color varying quite a bit.
Don't want to pick him up if he's olive green color which I think he might be.

Can I get some advice on how green this guy is?

Just got this guy in the mail yesterday and transformed him today. My version, which they are all supposed to be, is colored like the pic on the left. Nice toon Gray colors. Hope that helps!

Odd enough, saw two more videos where he's looking olive.
I wonder if there were different colors with different batches/runs.

 

That is interesting. I know of a white version, but I haven't heard of an olive one. Maybe it was from a con tho.

 

Lol, sorry I meant that the same Cel version that you have could have been made with slightly different color profile within different batches/runs.
Some of the Youtube reviews that I've seen of RMX-01C make him look a greyish olive.
I'm sure it also has to do with what lighting is used as that can change the color of an item slightly.
