To go along with the T-Rex, I made Dino Rider armor kit bashed from the junk bin to fit the Mattel Jurassic World Thrash 'n Throw T-Rex. The back platform is the canopy from an Inhumanoids Terrascout. I added random guns and a cockpit. Airbrushed with metallic slivers and red. I kept it with a simple, clean paint job and a few purple highlights as a nod to the vintage T-Rex's color scheme. The Diaclone V2 Warudaroids are the perfect size to ride on the platform. I began making more armor and shin guards like the vintage toy, but in the end opted for a simpler sleek look. I think most of the armor was to make up for the non-scariness of the vintage toy Trex.

More on the paint job of the T-Rex here.

This is awesome! I had a good chunk of the first series of the Dino-Riders toys as a kid. I’ve been waiting for someone to reboot the line, kids love dinosaurs lol. Well done on this piece!!!

    Not bad.

Still needs little mechanical arms and shin guards with buzz saws.

This just floats my boat on so many levels. Loved these toys as a kid. I bought a bunch of Jurrassic world toys to eventually do something like this, but man this is gonna be hard to equal. Got any more in the works?

I'll be on the look out for some shin guard saws for the T-Rex...tempting to dress up a velociraptor, however I don't think they are as cool as the Dino Rider T-Rex mobile battle platform concept.

the shin guard saw blades are kinda iconic. A Raptor would be tight. The Jurassic World raptors are about the right size too.

Awesome. I keep getting Dino-Riders and Dinosaucers mixed up. I never got those mixed up with Denver the Last Dinosaur though.
