I originally preordered Bumblebee when I was finally able to get Ashoka but decided to cancel it. Considered the situation with the last wave its best that if I really want him to just wait for retail with Elita One.

 

So. Some tips for the next time we have a wave like release, from my buying experience. Keep in mind this is risky, and well, you fly by the seat of your pants. The preorders for the Walmart wave went up before 11, I'm not saying when, because I don't want botters to make their bots better. Now, at first they all had the same thing on them, action figure, Transformers, etc. However, I noticed every minute or so, something would update on the cart page. Like, I could see what Deluxe was Elita 1 before it was listed as such. I then saw Wheeljack, and Impactor. After five minutes, in the list, I could see for the most part, who was who, so I was able to modify my order to get the ones I knew would be hard to get because everone else, like me, wanted those the most; like Elita, Bumblebee, Optimus, the Spoiler pack. So, for the next time we have this, this sort of thing might work in your favor. Add them to the list, make a list only containing them. Add to cart, go to check out, see whos picture pops up, etc.

 

I expect with weathering they will.

 

If not a mainline Hasbro Release, I can easily see these being a mainline Takara release. Worst case scenario people can go with the Takara version if these prove difficult to find in store.

 

Any idea if the Netflix Soundwave preorder will come back in stock from now until Oct?

 

Same with Prowl and Ironhide for Amazon.

Same. I pre-ordered. If it can be confirmed the lower legs are all blue I will be keeping the order.

I passed on regular Earthrise Optimus, the gray on the legs is an eye sore to me and its the first thing I notice in pictures.  

 

I haven’t yet, but I was looking at pre-ordering SS Overload and ER Doubledealer.

 

Man, anyone else feel numb after this morning? I was excited for the reveals and the new preorders, but also didn't want to be upset over plastic. I was shooting for several lines (trans, joe, Star Wars) and I think I got everything I wanted. But beside that feeling of "Will my preorder actually survive Walmart and will it come looking like it was stepped on?) I just feel...empty. The Joes were weird (the newer figs on the old card back? Is that...an error?) and the star wars stuff was so screwy I ended up with 4 figures shipping separately (fingers crossed they don't get canceled). As for the Transformers stuff, love the look of Elita (despite obvious), loved the look of Bee, loved that classic looking Soundwave. The more I thought about it though the more I felt bad about how messed up and stressful everything was and how none of this stuff really seems....earth shattering. Not trying to be negative or debate someone who loves them all. It's just after the dust settled, I felt like the energy expended > what I got. I think I'm finally getting old, lol. Anyway, hope everyone got what they wanted.

 

The Prowl mold is released as Smokescreen. Ratchet will probably be a main release.

 

Great question, as I see people haven't even received the first wave of the Netflix figures via being shipped by walmart... Or have some people received it...

 

Ah man i just missed the bumblebee figure after just finding it on walmart website. Well they have to restock sooner or later so I'll grab it when i get an email heres crossing my fingers now on it.

 

Sounds like you were on top of it! I’m guessing I’m going to have to store hunt for that Soundwave sadly. Missed out on the preorder window this morning and definitely regretting it. The preorder will likely be available again at some point, but the empty feeling I have is that I got everything I wanted EXCEPT for the Netflix Soundwave. No one else sold out at least when I checked a couple hours ago. If the preorders for some reason do not become available again, then Walmart store hunting it will be for sure. Again, congratulations on getting everything you wanted!

 

I know how you feel friend, except for me it’s Soundwave I missed. Here’s to us both getting the figures we want, huzzah!

 

Thanks! I'm mad at myself because I had been warning people that Walmart puts stuff up early and when I finally logged on this morning (around 6:45) I saw that the star wars stuff was live though the names of the figures weren't posted. When everything else went live, I literally just put everything on the page in my cart and bought it, unseen. That way I could go back and weed out the rest of the stuff I didn't want. It looks like that might have saved me. Good luck on the Soundwave, hope you hunt that beast down.

 

Amen brada,..... I want that Soundwave too but Hasbro is REALLY spreading my money REALLY thin. I have Dead Optimus Prime coming from Amazon in about a week. Then i have about 4 other pre-orders that when they come in i have to pay for. I'm telling ya this time till about November is REALLY going to be expensive and I'm already counting up how much its going to cost me and wow its going to hurt. So i leave with,.... man i REALLY need a rich uncle to throw me a few bucks.

 

If there’s no restock I think I’ll be able to find them in stores. Transformers aren’t really popular in my area, but my Walmart sure loves to stock them. That purple seeker everyone was after was in stock at my Walmart for a little over a month before they were finally sold. Only one I’m concerned about finding is Bee, because if any transformers sell, its him  

 

I wouldn’t feel too bad about missing pre-orders because of how bad wave 1 went and no one getting anything outside of UM.

 

I can sympathize with the ground down feeling. I’ve had a horribly stressful month and the initial worry that some kind of early inventory screw up had happened felt like very nearly the last straw. The shipping issues with wave 1 put a damper on everything, too-there’s no fun in the anticipation when the question is ‘will this actually ship it not?’ Hopefully this wave will go smoothly, but I think being pretty tired out by all of this is a natural feeling.
