I think time travel will be a major part of WFC starting with Siege and someone will get advanced knowledge of TFTM and set out to alter the timeline.

Possibly tying into G1 Megatron's "Golden Disk" plan from Beast Wars. Someone adapts the plan to go back before the Ark launch and give Megatron the Allspark while scrambling the Ark so they can't find earth. Something like that.

I didn't realize that's what the Quintesson alt mode was until this set. Now I'm hoping for more Kranx size figures But yeah this set is a definite buy

I loved the Movie more than anything as a kid and it irked me to no end we never got all those weird Floro Dery designs......now we do! But I'll be unlikely to be able to get a set. Oh well....it's cool but it's not a "must have."

It was very, very confusing at the end when she said it will be available on hasbropulse. For the other reveals she would say where and when it was available/pre-order. But for this she didnt say it will be up today for pre-order...weird, what the hell is going on?

I'm 100% for profit. Especially when it's for something I want. Just saying a sub imprint might have made sense. Like Rodimus Rex said though, this could tie into Siege in an averted timeline sort of way. Put G1 to rest in canon.

That Kranix Figure looks like a remold of the Brain of Courage Brainmaster that came with Masterpiece Star Saber.

 

To big, the brainmaster was tiny

 

Sorry, I haven't actually seen a comparison between the Brain of Courage and any CHUG characters. Is its base like a Titan Master or something? Anyways, they could have done the Wei Jiang treatment. Same toy, just bigger with more details. Maybe it is a technical remold with the same base, it's just bigger

 

i really doubt they went to the trouble of retooling a tiny piece of a giant mp for a non-transforming figure in an exclusive box set.
