Please make it Orlando again, we had an epic Harry Potter and TFCon thing going.

I am not surprised they decided to play it safe and call it before things really got spun up.

I wonder if third parties even bothered with exclusives knowing the odds were against it being safe in time.

This blows, but it's a smart decision. I hope they will still have it in Chicago next year.

You might want to add Texas and Florida to the list.

This was inevitable, but I hope we at least get some updates.

I don't know what worries me more:

The fact that organizers took so long to pull the plug,

Or that some people planned to go to a convention with a deadly, invisible virus out there.

The truth is that medical scientists warned us in March that this virus may not resolve itself so quickly. The science has been clear all along, but I guess there's a lot of noise and blind optimism.

2021 sounds like a good choice, though I'm disappointed the shows have to be cancelled in 2020 for people to make the right choice and stay home. If we work together, we can beat this virus; if we pretend the virus doesn't exist, it will beat us.

I'm hoping for them to come back to Orlando too. My son was really excited to go to his first con and then COVID-19 comes and dashes those hopes.
