I mean, it was pretty much known that he was planning to move on. It's been a good six years though, especially for generations.

In other news I am getting increasingly nervous that he won't be leaving behind a Thunderwing as part of his legacy now. If it's not revealed today it almost certainly won't be happening. I'm not confident, frankly.

    Oh boy!
Even though it's a tiny little photo, Ironhide looks depressingly good. Depressingly in that, I was hoping to be able to skip these on principle. Wankers. $40 for the pair, apparently. Which seems reasonable. I'm sure we'll suffer import inflation to some degree. Here's hoping Ratchet gets released in that mold too. Law of paw suggests Ratchet will cost the same on his own as this double pack.

It's great that the Coneheads are having their unique wingtypes respected. Shame their guns aren't getting the same treatment. I'm hyped for this pair.

And Warden going? Well, I'm not surprised at all. It feels natural. I've been predicting him going at the end of the trilogy from...well the start of Siege I think. Two focused, innovative and well-helmed trilogies under your belt looks pretty good on the CV and ensures you're leaving on a high before diminsiging returns sully your legacy.

Going out on BW. Baller move.

Right, I'm off to Bridlington for the weekend to (hopefully) see some puffins and drink champagne on the beach, as is one's wont. Happy 10+ reveals day everyone!

@barry, maybe rack a spoiler tag on them for those who don't get out the boat and wanna hold on for the official reveals?

Not me though, fucking class!!! Get 'em in my stinking bleeding disease ridden tooth hole.

If anyone wants the Ironhide from that two-pack and not the Prowl, I'm happy to do that - I'm happy with Siege Ironhide, I just want ER Prowl.

I'll take Ironhide if @Ottertron doesn't want him. No worries if he does though! :)

Ooh, [spoiler reveals]. Well, I'ma buy at least half of that! :D

    Thanks for the reveal! :)

Edit: Reckon the boxes put together make one picture?

Loving the Scorponok photos. Can anyone recreate the cover of the 1989 annual (Wiki says it's 1989 I thought it was a bit earlier)? Background shouldn't be too hard!

I'm going to need that Prowl so Arrnnhad is coming with him anyway, but apart from Earth Van the bot doesn't look like any step up from Siege - hopefully that's just stock picture magic at play.

    Cones: yes, because.

Honestly, this is feeling more & more like a goodbye to G1, at least for now. I wouldn't be surprised to see BW/AEC pick up the reins for a bit for the next trilogy. Which is fine with me. It'd let the line breathe.

Yes to the latter (although I'd prefer toy heads and for them to come with their original weapons as opposed to standard Seeker issue) but as for the former....I really dislike Siege Prowl. This looks to be an improvement...but 1) will it be enough? And 2) will it & Red Van Man have the same headsculpts as their previous versions? Hmm...

It'd be fine by me too (and Hasbro would get more of my money for updated Beast Era/Trilogy, we already have a ton of G1 CHUG and most of it excellent fun).

Oh sorry I meant to say TRUKK NOT MUNKY and ruined FOREVER. ;)

RIRFIB FIRRIB RIBFIR FIBRIR....

Five hours behind, at the moment. So it's 04:26 there now. :D

It's in five hours time then, so that makes it two thirty.
