What's more important: that everything conform to the exact same unified scale or that we actually get good-looking toys that will happen to look good with each other on shelves?

I'm pretty sure the Beast Wars figures will be in-scale relative to each other, so they'll follow a separate internal scale to the G1 figures' scale. Remember: if Hasbro was to attempt to keep the Beast Wars guys in-scale with the existing G1 characters, BW Megatron alone would be barely bigger, if not the same size as Optimus Prime's head. Nowhere near big enough for a decently designed toy.

Man, I may be in the minority, but I think BW Inferno was absolute dogshit. Awesome character, I'd love to have a new figure of him.

There's seriously no need to complain about BW scale whenever the show's scale already made no damn sense. A polar bear, a scorpion, and a giraffe all the same size? Sure.

    "Chapter 4: Turbomasters vs Predators"?
    or
"Chapter 4: Loud Colours", for short.
    Please?

Let's not forget that a T-Rex is the size of the head of a being that turns into a truck.

You are right, he needed wrist joints, and less clear plastic as it would crack. A mold similar to the original with a few improvements would go a really long way.

So let's talk repaint/retool/SELECTS potential for the BW cast:
    • Optimus Primal: B'Boom/Apache (Heavy Retool), Universe Optimus Primal
    • Cheetor: Tigatron (already confirmed?) and Shadow Panther/Ravage
    • Rhinox: Evil Rhinox?
    • Rattrap: Packrat or, if they feel like trolling, Rodimouse Prime
    • Dinobot: Grimlock, duh as well as BW Neo Hardhead
    • Airazor: No idea
    • Megatron: T-Wrecks?
    • Waspinator: Buzzsaw
    • Tarantulas: Blackarachnia (already confirmed?) as a massive retool
    • Scorponok: Sandstorm or Double Punch
    • Terrorsaur: Too many to count
    • Inferno: Antagony

They made the G1 bots way too big in BW in those scenes haha.

I hope they would be smart and give Tarantulas and Blackarachnia totally separate molds

It was probably intentional to give the G1 characters more of an imposing presence giving Beast Wars treated the G1 era as the equivalent to King Arthur or Greek Myth.

I honestly can’t wait to have a high quality image of the poster. I am surprised that Netflix announced it tbh. But hell yeah, I can’t wait for BW to be featured in generations. Now to recreate that painful Dinobot death with modern figures and engineering.

I'm down for BW but would love to see the earthrise line rounded out with a few missing favorites... Kinda feel like Iron hide and Ratchet deserve an earthmode G1 toy with a head that isn't a masterpiece lol... Gotta admit though, WFC trilogy has been fantastic so far, I buy the toys for my kids but I'd be lying if I didn't love the nostalgia for myself.

I wouldn't hate it if that was the Battlemastler class: scale versions that go with the bigger G1 guys (note: IN ADDITION to regular figures, not IN PLACE of.)

I used to have Robot Masters Primal hanging with MP-01. they looked great together.

I'm legitimately happy for every BW fan who is now getting what they want, and sincerely hope I'm wrong about how well I thi k this will do at retail.
