I was able to lock in XTB Gravestone's lower price by preordering early with ShowZ. Eventually XTB made ShowZ raise the price but those of us who preordered early were locked and guaranteed in at the lower previous price.

Sorry, I was referring to ignoring the far out preorders being a sign of news or imminent news specifically, nothing to do with ordering if that is your preference.

No doubt. But I’ve got FT Trailbreaker in at $99, and I’m pretty sure he’ll come in higher.

We'll see if they keep that price cause TCP also has that price. When FT Iceman and Mangum came out the price rose and had to pay extra at TCP.

Maybe it's for real this time? Meaning, they are opening again because we do have an expected date (which it seems is not that near as Chomp is still in the redesign phase).

Hopefully! But it's probably just some cancellations or something. I feel like it could come out early next year though

I'm thinking it would be difficult, because FT has not revealed a redesigned render yet, and after that, they still need to reveal the color render (if they follow the modus operandi they have always been doing). Last info is that there will be some information on FT-02 this year, but Dalianjj did not say the same will happen to Chomp or Berserk (in fact, he clearly stated in the same statement that both were still in the redesign stage).

Yeah, he did say they would show updates on Chomp for an upcoming TFCon (which has passed now), so I think they havea final version to show (maybe not full colour yet).

Yeah, but there's some "more or less" conflicting info here. The TFcon info is from March, and the info on FT-02 and Chomp still being in redesign is from July. If I were to guess, I would say that the pandemic required a change of plans, in particular to enable the releases of all planned products for this year (to also get money, because I'm not sure if FT can survive without selling products, I would bet they can't), and the redesigns were pushed back. This would explain why the July statement said that Chomp and Berserk are still in the redesign stage (also, Berserk did have a redesigned render reveal, whereas Chomp did not have one yet, so, it would seen that, whenever the release will be, Berserk will be released before Chomp).

Would be nice to see, though i'd imagine we'd probably see Skullcruncher more around the beginning of next year.

Now with MakeToys, i'd be interested in their Highbrow. G1 Chromedome and Brainstorm are off-limits for me, screw those, MMC Chromedome and Generations Brainstorm have me covered, haha. Hardhead is so far the one Headmaster i'm completely sold on getting thanks to IDW.

HAs there been any news of this guy? Chomp is pretty much the last figure I really "need" for my collection, and things have gone suspiciously quiet.

DalianJJ said last year that they were gonna reveal the updated version at an upcoming TFCon, but they went on the low. Seems like they would at least have it ready to show by now in colour.

I am pretty sure this and a bunch of other news will happen either before or after CNY. We know this one was redesigned like Berserk. I would like to see it this year but they have a tight schedule with Acoustic Wave and those combiners. Acoustic Wave likely to be figure of the year like Thomas. Berserk may be 2022. We will just have to see.
