You're not going to fit the entire S1 cast in to a single wave, especially if there's G1 figures mixed in.

And if you start getting in to Fuzors and Transmetals, again even if it's just the show cast, all of those figures need reuses. It's why a BW line is going to be a challenge to fit in to the current demands of a retail line. It's far more likely Hasbro is going to do the show cast, but spread it out of over time so they can get their reuses while also running some G1 stuff alongside it for name recognition.

 

Absolutely wild that people are still thinking this is a fake leak. It's real, guys. Nobody would go through the trouble to fake a poster like this.

 

The most we'd likely get to confirm this is if Walmart just casually drops a preorder for the rumored Netflix Cheetor.

 

Dammit. I had hoped the leaks and rumors were fake. I am utterly uninterested in Beast Wars, never liked the toys, and only care about a few of the characters. I don\'t see what BW has to do with the War for CYBERTRON at all... Beast Machines, maybe, but BW? Apart from a few shots of the planet they hardely even talked about it. 
Tigatron and Blackarachnia and Scorponok look rather like they just used shots from the TV show. Is that BW and G1 Megs at the top? 

 

The one on the left looks like Rhinox'es torso and on the upper right is a "purple T-Rex" (I wonder who that might be...)  

Airazor would make way more sense but it sure looks like BW Silverbolt (the one from Magnaboss, not the Fuzor).

Doing Beast Wars stuff now is certainly a big leap. But then, Beast Wars was itself a big leap seemingly out of nowhere. I dig it.

Nobody except someone with some art skills, of course.

 

If we assume Kingdom is only the beginning of BW stuff, you could do something where G1 and BWS1 meet...they deal with the conflict and then the fallout leads to something like: "Oh no power surge!" and now you've got G1 characters in Beast Modes (where you can start making toys of BW characters who shared G1 names) and the BW guys got their transmetal forms (so now you can shift to season 2).

Except the whole point of the key art is to throw out a bunch of characters that people will recognize from media. Bald Eagle Silverbolt doesn't have a basis in media...so nobody would go "Oh the bald eagle. I know him!"

 

I just bought a bunch of Beast Wars figures a couple months back cuz I was so sure this would never happen.....I see Skorpinok, Dinobot, and Blackarachnia in the poster....and I just paid (too much) for each of those this year. Sigh. I mean I\'m excited, don\'t get me wrong. But I only have space for 1 of each character (with a few exceptions). So this year\'s expense was mostly a waste, lol, since I know I\'m going to want to get the new ones.

That's my prediction, that Netflix Cheetor would be a "preview" of sorts like Verno suggested. Though JTprime suggested that, given how the other Netflix characters appear in systems, it may not be Cheetor but someone who uses his mould. (all Netflix listings use the base mould's name plus the word "reissue" even if it's a different character)

Literally Earthrise was all about going to Earth and completely abandoned the war for Cybertron angle. They ditched the WFC thing quickly.

 

It's Cheetor, Rattrap, Primal, Prime, Bee, Tigatron, and Airrazor. The S1 Maximals minus Rhinox.

However I would not be opposed to Wolfang getting a figure considering he was originally supposed to join the cast in Tigatron's spot.
