i had no trouble buying Doubledealer at the East Colonial Target this morning. there was only one on the shelf. heads up -- NECA won't be allowed to sell Godzilla stuff after August. so if you've been holding off, this may be our last chance for (relatively) high quality, affordable Zilla product in the US.
Oh don't get me started. It was a damned nightmare trying to get the Black Series Gamorrean Guard because my store was doing a reset. And that's the only Black Series figure I own. In other news, no TMNT in the Walmart at Mandarin as of 8am except 4 Shredder & Krang packs.
I am just going to throw this out there: given the absolute, comprehensive shitshow that has been the Walmart.com website pre-order cycle, and the local situation in town at retail where people are straightup ransacking the aisles.. Those Netflix Soundwaves are not going to be an easy get. I foresee them not being around for weeks after release, then a flood of boxes hitting the shelves filled with Siege Soundwave swaps. If I ever get lucky enough to see a few on the shelf, I’m buying every single one I can get at the time, and anybody who wants one gets it at-cost. Any I don’t sell off like this will go back to the store. Scalpers are not smart, and we outnumber them so if we are vigilant and help each other out maybe we can discourage this crap because it seems like it is everywhere lately.
I dunno. I have found every WM exclusive Transformer so far. The least common one was Blue Streak, but I had seen him maybe 3 times. Every Soundwave in the stores around me lasted at least a day. Given that, I know every area is different with distribution so I will aid you in this endeavor. Now the MOTU Origins, Star Wars, and Joes and TMNT may turn out be a different story. Transformers just don't seem that difficult to track down. A long wait, but eventually I see them all exclusive or not, at least once.
So I found a couple cobras in Broward county so they are out there. If you just see Rungs than that means you missed them. Also how do people get DCPI codes ? Where do they come from ? Still looking for Doubledealer. Edit: I found a lone Doubledealer in a Miami Target. But Im still curious where people get DCPIs in the first place ? I had a girl scan Astrotrain and Doubledealer together to see if they have the same DCPI and they did. So dont go using DCPI as a sure shot. It seems to be more useful for exclusives like when I found the seeker set.
Anyone in the Orlando/UCF area still looking for the clones? I just ordered some from target.com, but got two sets to get free shipping. They should be delivered on the 22nd. If I don't have to drive more than 10 minutes from UCF, I'm looking to sell the spare for $25.00.
Hey, so I decided that I think I want to get Earthrise Prime for myself for my birthday; I usually always just snatch up everything I want for my collection right away, so I think I want something that I know will be fun that doesn’t necessarily fit anywhere right now. Hopefully I haven’t missed the boat and I’d like to find one in town. Has anyone seen one very recently?
