For that price does he at least come with a couple sandwiches?

 

now i already ordered it and he's going to be sick when i get him but one thing that i am already kinda bummed about is the weapon. i know the figure is based more on the live performer look but just to make it more stand out and different, i wish rather than the shot gun, he came with a connectable version of his ROTF fusion cannon like he has in the ride itself.

 

Instead of the shotgun, I wish he came with a soundbox of all the best quotes of the universal Megatron. That guy is fucking hilarious.

 

I started tracking this guy on ebay recently after giving up hope of ever going to Universal Studios anytime soon...

he was trending around $100 and none really in the USA...

So I am so glad I didn't jump in immediately and get one now that Pulse and others have him up for presale...

and for a bargain too...leader class in the parks have got to retail around $70 right?

 

Fun fact: the actor behind the suit (at least, for many of the internet meme moments. I don't know the current status) is Josh Petersdorf, who may be better known in the voice acting community after he took on the role of Mako Rutledge/Roadhog in the videogame Overwatch. He's also the current voice for the character Galio in League of Legends (replacing David Lodge), and the character Ton in the Aggretsuko anime currently on Netflix.

 

Can this actually be bought in the park?

Sorry about the bump, but you guys might wanna check your local Gamestops soon. He is unfortunately streetdated until the 4th and not on the website, but the guy at the register let me "preorder" him and took him to the back for me to pick up Monday. He was the only one on the shelf. Scratch that, he was the only transforming figure they had.

Strange, couldn't find it earlier online, and it isn't for a preorder and can't find a street dated thing....
...so do I call and ask what's up and if I can get him today seeing as I already paid in full in person?

Because Universal Studios Megatron is one of the greatest walk around theme park characters ever, if not the greatest. It is an honor to have him go off on you.

 

I saw him in a toy store in Connecticut as early as December 2020!
