Big Bite's dorsal fin halves should be treated with extra attention... seem kind of weak.

Other than that, just be aware because these guys are POKEY.

    Mentarazor especially, for poking.

Cheers team - I did have TFC's devastator many moons ago. I'm hoping they've improved things since then.

Cyberjaw looks the weakest of the bunch. I might just not get him tbh... that said, which figure would you recommend starting the set with? 1000KILLS looks cool! Can the combined form actually hold any of the gun forms?

Are there any pics of Poseidon with a FP or MT combiner? I assume he's a little bigger but that the stylised chugginess should work together?

If you skip Cyberjaw, you'll need to get a second combiner foot elsewhere somehow. I think TFC "put the foot, with the guy who's usually a gun" on purpose, to discourage people from only buying 4 limbs.

Thousandkills is probably the hardest to transform---lots of inherent tiny misalignments and "tabs that only sorta hold in" make for a "hard to know if you're done" experience. And lots of pokey bits. You can't really grab him easily to move parts around.

Cyberjaw and Bigbite are very similar, just remolds of each other. Cyberjaw seems slightly less refined----despite releasing later, he seems to be "missing features BigBite has, that they really both should share".

    Ironshell's the best overall IMHO.

Mentarazor will stab you, and the combiner fist is finicky to get in, but offers much fun with the zillion different wing hinges.

Deathclaw is "well rounded and good"----the only issue is that the yellow paint chips off of you look at it funny.

I think a lot of us expected this set to eventually see a price break because of how cheap you could get their Trinity Force and Lio Kaiser sets at various times.

This is a sold set, better than a lot other combiners. When I bought it, I think ebay flash sale was still a thing, so each member was around $70 ( $80 minus 10, 15% off) and the leader was $100, so total was 450 instead of 600.

1000kills arrived and I love him. Is he perfect? No - there are some dodgy paint apps, the side panels don't tab in, and the face isn't painted properly (anyone know if Baba will send me a replacement head?). However, aside from that, I dig him - quirky, unusual alt mode with plenty of cool articulation and imposing bot mode. I haven't got to leg/arm mode yet.

I'll defo be picking up the rest of this set in order to have a buddy for TFC Satan. Can't wait to hear what combiner TFC will do next.

These figures are great but doesn't fit with my collection, now that I'm switching to the TW/Zeta scale. I wish someone would make a 22in combiner frame these bots could fit onto or in.

Any info about the God Neptune repaint?
They wait until after the release of the Takara version?

See I'm of the mind that combiners should be a variety of heights. I think Predaking, Raiden, Devastator, Abominus, Superion, LioKaiser and Bruticus are the largest, while Menasor, Defensor, Computron, Piranacon, Victorion, Monstructor, Road Caesar, and Rail Racer are varying forms of smaller combiners.

My Seawing came without the tail. Bought it in January this year and my retailer saying TFC has been silent. There is a pandemic in between, but anyone had anyluck reaching out to TFC?

There have had updates on their Rolling Thunder Nuclear Blast release. Everyone has been slow in the Pandemic, can't be helped. Though TFC have really never been speedy on public updates; sometimes they are just dropped.

TFC to my knowledge doesn't really ever send out replacement parts.

Besides the ankle raisers and the kneecaps that TFC did themselves, not that I am aware of.

    Sorry to hear it...

Isnt he the one who's supposed to have the single sword? With that, you could just say he's the "Captain Hook" of the team and keep his pincer "thumb" as his hook-hand... *shrug* It's not lemonade, but it's something.
