I suppose there’s less incentive to adapt that one because Dark Disciple is bigger, and features characters that never appeared in the show proper following its initial cancellation(IE, Ventress & Vos). Whereas characters from SoD did, we saw how that story ended.

I also like how the press release calls the final season critically acclaimed, when that really only applies to Siege of Mandalore. Even Bad Batch was considered okay at best.

Siege of Mandalore was so phenomenal I almost forgot how bad the Trace/Rafa arc was.

Bad Batch wasn't amazing but it would've been a lot more popular if it wasn't in the final season.

Compared to Trace/Rafa arc though it was fucking Dostoyevsky.

I like that the people from Siege will be working on this show. That gives me confidence.

The Sisters arc was so freaking bad. How would they ever think anyone would want a spinoff with them? :lolol

Bad Batch vs Son of Dathomir would've been more of a bigger competition if SOD was in the season.

Now that would be a harder choice. I was against bringing Maul back, but he was so well done in the show that I’ve completely changed my mind. Two of my 3 favorite arcs in the series involve Maul, and it’s always great to have Sam Witwer involved since he’s a Star Wars mega fan who might even know more about the lore than I do, and that’s saying something considering how many Star Wars books I’ve read and games I’ve played.

I'm sure I'll check this out. But if it were up to me, I'd like to see a series featuring Ahsoka and Sabine searching the galaxy looking for Ezra. That reminds me, wasn't there supposed to be a series that takes place after Rebels?

Rumor is that that’s the other show they’re working one I believe. @jala12 is that correct?

If you go by the numbers, Bad Batch being okay and the Sisters being bad means that S7 overall ends up being a 7/10. :lol

I also figure that if the Sisters arc hadn’t been part of the final season, it wouldn’t have gone over as badly. It still would’ve been bad. But it would’ve been forgotten to the sands of time like a bunch of other crap TCW put out. But the fact that they felt the need to put a long, tired and mediocre at best arc in this highly anticipated, high profile final revival for TCW means that it’ll forever have the stink of being regarded as some of the worst Star Wars ever made. Which I’m sure objectively, it isn’t, but like I said, we’ll never be able to see it as anything but. At least not for about, oh, twenty years.

The poor quality of the Sisters arc makes me wonder if the Mandalore finale was really 10/10 like i and pretty much everybody regards it as, or if it got a boost from such a bad month beforehand and then an okay month before that. But I dunno, I rewatched Phantom Apprentice today and it was still enthralling as ever, so it probably is. Context is always key.

I think so. There were heavy rumors about it regarding plot details earlier in the year as well.

I dunno if these clones had enough staying power to manage a whole series built around them. I frankly don't even remember the names of anyone but Wrecker.
