Hasbro just reveal yesterday their working on a few more Tiers to unlock some more goodies.

I wonder if their going to add a third figure to the Sentinel set. But it would’ve been cool if the Unicron did something similar to the sentinel, maybe a highly detailed planet for Unicron to eat. I kindve wish Unicron would’ve been a backer for Haslab, next year, cause they might’ve added some more to the set.

 

It does say for every 1,000 backers after that, they'll unlock a new one...
I don't think they expected to go so far so fast. Personally, I'm already pretty impressed with 3 heads and 2 Legends figures to go with it.

 

I’m gonna suggest that Hasbro learned its lesson from Unicron. And maybe read through some threads at a website not a million miles away from here.

 

Agreed. It should also be noted that Bastion and the female unit use a considerable amount of existing molds and are cast in black. There's a bare minimum in expenses to include them with the figure. It's good of Hasbro to offer two [retail value] twenty dollar figures with the Sentinel but they didn't put a lot of effort into unique tooling for them.

Even if they offered a Boliver Trask at the x-thousand mark, he'd just use the Xavier body and had a new head... if not just use a Dr. Strange head. Or just use that business suit Tony Stark. They have options with little effort invested.

Unfortunate to see Warden moving on. The brand has moved in the right direction since he took over.

That kinda sucks. I know he had some bucket list Transformers he still wanted to put into production that we haven't seen. Wonder if he got a few more of them into the pipeline before he moved to the new job and we just haven't seen the production samples yet?

I hope the engineering team doesn't feel the need to change directions when they bring in someone new. I like where we're at with Transformers right now. If you like simplified, you have that option with Cyberverse. Generations gives you incredible sculpts and posability. I'd really hate to see either one get torn apart at this point.

You act like it was entirely up to him. Clearly he did well with Transformers and so now Hasbro wants to put him in lines that aren't doing so well.

 

That's usually how it goes.

Take someone who is in charge of a successful business unit and tell them that it would be good for their "development" and a great "opportunity" if they took over a less successful business unit and turned it around.

 

Can We get more posability of this guy. I need more....  star core 3rd party is killing it with their version of unicron. Give us something to look forward

 

Cell isn't aimed at the same things as HasLab. You can't get this size/movie transformation and that end result together etc.

I do agree it'd be good to get an official update though

 

Honestly cell while being poseable, realistically can’t use most of it because of his size, unless you have an entire table just for him. So really I wouldn’t say one can pull off much the other can’t for an actual display.

 

Well... haslab got the looks. Core is packed with action. I guess it depends what people prefer. I guess i preferred big giant robots like Fortress maximus that looks great and can still do action posses well limited but can still pull some moves. I probably asking for too much on such a big transformer. Hopefully there will be updates on his posability.

 

I expect Unicron to be as poseable as the current titans. Feet should have some extra joints that if strong enough might help in making him look more dynamic. Elbows are standard 90 degrees, knees look they can bend more but the leg kibble might get in the way. He likely won't be able to do yoga (we are also talking about a nearly 9kg toy after all) but I don't think he will end up as a statue.
