Balt wouldn't make a bad addition to the podcast if you ever get tired of the rotating chair.

I just learned about Hyper Rescue and Earth Granner toy lines the other week ...

I'd love to get something from these lines just see how it is, but they seem pricey to import.

I gotta say though, I'm a little jealous of how robust they look compared to some of the Transformers Generations stuff.

I've been going deep on that stuff as I haven't loved the hand feel of recent toys (nothing wrong with the new stuff, it's the best its been, but personally I love big chunky toys). You just have to be into the low complexity/ reduced articulation. If that still sounds like you're thing I'd recommend giving it a swing.

5D19B0FB-94B9-41CA-9DC7-FF324F81C297.jpeg I’m gonna keep swinging in here just because those first few minutes of convo are so golden to me. Yes… all this stuff is just way too big. And I love it. Just very satisfying (and just the tip of my Korean iceberg)

I just started Kuuga. I was so blown away the second episode had "yeah that was me". US shows would milk that all season.

I remember your Figuarts week got me into that rabbit hole that soured me on US figures.

Um yeah, you could say I’m lockdown ready...

So it kinda started with the Spawn action figure. Afterwards I started looking around KickStarter finding out about the Car Wars one and that reminded me of the Battletech one I also missed. Two childhood games I probably would have backed had I known.

Board games are a whole new kind of beast on KickStarter, and I realised there’s over a decade of evolution with tabletop games that probably leaves my little shelf I have representing in the dust, so began checking out local places and seeing what was around.

I just stumbled upon Cloudspire while listening to your thoughts on Too Many Bones... and I’m going to have a huge dice collection now.

Vangelis, I’m curious to know what you have in your portable bag of games.

My portable bag is still the one I'd loaded for a trip out west that got cancelled, haha. I've gotta pop it open and remember the full catalogue I crammed inside, it wasn't very solo-dedicated though & with the things I've learned since lockdown I'd probably re-jig it a bit.

Man this took back to my early college days walking around campus listening to the old TF Wire show on my iPod shuffle. I wouldn't mind Spada becoming Seth's permanent replacement.

It was great to hear Spada on a podcast again. It brought me back to the TF Wire days. I hope he comes back around for more episodes. I wouldn’t mind hearing a Rider/Sentai podcast from the both of you.

So I got to play Too Many Bones at Origins/Gencon/Pax Unplugged? Last Year and it was a ton of fun! It's the sort of game that I'd love to own if someone wanted to give me a stupid expensive gift or I had a group of committed friends to get through atleast 2 campaigns with it, but the prize point does make me hesitant.

    The components are marvelous though.

I have tended to not like Baltmatrix's videos because I feel like he's "always on" in his vids... like he's not casual or not himself. Listening to this episode, it's really cool to hear him just be casual, and I think I have to start watching his vids with a different mindset. Think he deserves another chance. :)

Pretty sure this is the episode you talked about Cyberverse Hot Rod being unpainted. I just painted up mine as well as the spikes on Grimlock and his back cannon, which was painted on the packaging art:

They do, they don't really rub. Just gotta be careful and watch what you're doing. I use Tamiya acrylics, in this case flat yellow, and they bond pretty well. Being a flat color, though, it would scratch off if I wanted to.
