Yup... Getting this fella because I feel like I missed out on Rampage. He's a big pogo boi.

 

While I'm a fan of the option to go character-accurate or movie-accurate, I'll probably stick with Rampage as a limb. It'll really depend on how I feel once I've properly got Devastator set up. I'm definitely picking this guy up, though, if only because I have an insatiable hunger for SS Constructions.

 

Looks like the black piece of his waist is still assembled backwards. Sadness.

Isn't Skipjack both? Rampage was never part of Devastator in the movie and his colours did not match the part of Devastator that had the same alt mode as he did.

 

It is, thinking about it. I'm used to the ROTF toys completely ignoring any difference between the two, and I forgot Rampage wasn't actually part of Devastator in the movie.

 

Man hasbro is fucking lazy these days. That's the exact same figure, just with a different base plastic color. It looks like they didn't switch up the paint apps one bit, and the fucking torso joint piece is still misassembled.

Glad for those who want the alt color or missed out on Rampage, but this doesn't appeal to me at all anymore.

 

Im guessing we will get a Payload again for the Long Haul. Which i guess i need because Long Haul is hard to get a hold of now.

Yeah considering hes technically an entirely new character he could have gotten like a new head sculpt or something at the very least.

Fair, but at least functionally it doesn't effect the figure at all so im not too bothered by it.

I'd say it's the fact that he's so clunky, the design makes his movements pretty limited

 

I don’t understand the hate either. You can’t expect to pull off hyper articulated poses with a figure as chunky as him. He didn’t pull any backflips in the two movies he was in so I’m fine with him being a walking brick.
