Sorry for the extraordinarily terrible picture, but this just got delivered an hour or so ago. The box was pretty worn but the figure inside was literally brand new - still had all the protective plastic on it.

I can't believe that Milia asked her employess to paint the VF-22 in pink in M7, should have kept in red like her OG VF-1J.

Gamilin is so lucky that Milia didn't book him for what had happened in the series.

You so missed out in the opportunity in getting the Yammie VF-22 when you had the chance @Slave IV..

Glad that I manged to snag a Gamilin VF-22 for around 20k yen when I had the chance.

 

I've seen it around and I'm sure you've sent me links to it before but I'm not willing to pay for anything other than Ferry shipping for anything that big right now...And places like Mandarake still don't offer ferry option.

 

OOOH, is this why you sold a few of your other Macross stuff? I have to admit, I almost offered on your YF-25 since I love the design so much. =P

I’ve tried to pick up deals where I could and wanted to try and get my hands on as many different molds as possible to see what I liked.

now that I’ve experienced most of them first-hand I’m trying to clear out the excess and pick up a few for some displays along the way. I’ve only got room for (I think) 11 VFs at the top of my display, so I don’t really have room for mold repeats (nor do I usually like having them anyhow).

This Milia will go with a few other red VFs - the reissue Alto 29 coming later this year, and hopefully a Nora SV-51 from Arcadia. Should be a nice looking trio. Going to do a blue group too - my Yamato 19S (I’d prefer a 19F but not a big deal if I can’t ever find one), hopefully one day an improved version VF-25G, and a VF-0A (hoping for an Arcadia reissue).

this 22S was basically the one figure I wanted for my shelves that wasn’t going to be easy to find (and obviously wasn’t likely to see a reissue any time soon or ever). So I snagged it when I had the opportunity, though it cost me about 4k yen over retail.

incidentally I couldn’t decide between the YF-25 and the VF-25A as my favorite color scheme for the 25. Both looked great and I have a feeling whenever they do a “V3” VF-25 we won’t see either of those color schemes again.

 

It looks awesome in-hand, the deco pairing works very well. Disregard that the 2 guys that flew them got destroyed almost effortlessly lmao. I added Max stickers on mine instead.

 

And your 100% right...it is just so aggravating.

 

Yeah the aggravation tends to take the fun out of things.

 

That sucks that it broke on you. Back in the day you might have been able to get replacement parts. Might be worth asking to see if anyone has them.

 

I forgot to say that is a good idea about staying strong and only buying what you have space for. My wife would appreciate that since I went a bit overboard...
