In the nightmare corpse-city of R'lyeh, the dead Ctulhu waits dreaming. But Ctulhu is the lesser evil, for R'lyeh is a creature itself, a horror beyond all the elder gods, for R'lyeh being the horrible Titan, the Bane Of Cyberverse, the great Iaconus...

Yes. Iaconus is a cityformer, just one beyond human knowledge and euclidian geometry.

I think it's TRYING to be a space frigate. Similar to this ship by Vince-T on DeviantArt, but with a shield on top:

I'll probably buy it in support of Iaconus...with hope that if enough of us show support for the character, we might get an actual Titan-class version later on. He deserves more than...this.

Submarine Galvatron was HasTak pulling a sneaky on overly strict laws that govern... toys.
    HasTak: Its a sub
    Government: seems legit

Why are ray guns outlawed? Have been there attempted robbings with colorful unrealistic weapons? Why don't outlaw any toy depictions of weapons?

Do not! I love your acc name! Reminds me of Thunder Baron, who is cool.

Iaconus is all what was wrong with ChoKidenju Daimugen, but worse.
At least the good ol' turtle was a good-defined turtle. This hardly defines as a spaceship. Daimugen interacted with other figures. And he was just aesthetically good: his blocky, non-humanoid robot mode gave the feel of a living tank as well as turtle mode has this feel. Iaconus isn't a Titan which looks like a Titan. When the pictures of him were first revealed, I mistook him for a knight-friend of Thunderhowl. He doesn't have the aesthetic of a city which gained a humanoid form, he looks like a knight and all. I mean Fortress Maximus had huge ramp-capes behind his arms, Metroplex and Trypticon have tower parts, Scorponok is the odd one, but he is more scorpion than city.

I love the Diaclone reboot, but I cannot see them ever importing those toys in at those price points. Especially considering their complexity and targeted age-range.

    PRETTY SNEAKY SIS

I wish they'd mold plain white crosses on future Ratchets.

A little red paint and somewhere a Red Cross lawyer will start crying without knowing why.

I guess if anybody is not satisfied with its alt mode they could attempt to replicate the city mode in the show or this like other titans is a triple changer and we haven’t been shown his city mode yet but either way it’s pretty much a pass for me.

From what I understand, cops in the US are trained to shoot anyone who holds something that might look like a real firearm. Due to the prevalence of actual weapons, the police prefers to err on the side of caution. Thus, any toy weapons, regardless of how outlandish they look, require barrels made out of unpaintable orange plastic.

    See any NERF blaster, really.

Yeah. Didn't think about that. I didn't think that 7-12 y. olds are dumber than I think...
I mean that Hasbro's opinion of kids is weird... Modern Cyberverse figures are very simple, especially Scout class, which doesn't even fully transform. Look at their higher price points: size and cost of Leaders/Voyagers, but complexity of a deluxe (if not a 3-step). Especially the Energon armor Ultimates are awful: conjoined legs, ill-defined alt-modes (they transform into their own mutilated corpses), horrible autotransformation gimmick. And yes, Prime is floppy.

Now I know why Action Master Shockwave had an orange gun arm...

What, the alt-mode fun thread is dying?

The molding is shit on this figure, but it looks like his shoulders are supposed to be clusters of buildings

Im just glad these entry-level figures exist for kids that want them, but that we have the options we get in the Generations line. That being said, I totally want Hasbro to make more complex, generations-level figures based on the Cyberverse designs.

Same. My son is three and while he has an idea what to do with a Generations figure there's always a risk of breakage or frustration because there's a bit of dexterity and patience he doesn't quite have yet.

The stuff like this is right up his ally. The transformations are fairly straightforward and the figures more durable. And his imagination takes over so even if Iaconus is just a mass of buildings he'll make it work.

    Agreed.

People wondering what options are left for the Titan Class...*points at Iaconus.*

Not quite, though that is often the problem.

The overall concern is that if a toy resembles a real gun it becomes difficult for the officer to know if it's a lethal weapon or not. Which means they have to err on the side pf caution. This can/has lead to children being shot because they have a toy gun, don't make the connection with what officers are saying, think they are playing, and getting shot. (Or people seeing a toy gun, thinking it's a real weapon, and needlessly calling police)

I believe it's tied back to one specific instance in the US, but don't quote me on that.

There was one instance when a pre-teen child was shot while holding a toy gun (not a Transformer). Note that there was apparently miscommunication between 911 dispatch and police dispatch in which the onlooker who reported the incident said it might be a teenager and the pistol might be a toy gun.
    https://www.newsweek.com/tamir-rice-police-brutality-toy-gun-720120

The only incident with a Transformer was a more recent episode where a man used Megatron to threaten his neighbors...in CANADA, not the U.S.
Transformers: 15 Things You Didn’t Know About Megatron

Overall, police don't like toys that look like real guns because they can create confusion. Hasbro seems to be of the opinion that Transformers should just stay out of it altogether...and yet, NERF guns are still a thing, so I call bullshit on Hasbro trying to avoid ray guns.
