    Find an awesome file somewhere that you feel deserves more attention?

    Then this thread is for you! Amongst that mentioned above and more, this thread is for everyone to share finds, makes, designs, and thoughts on 3D printable transformers related files from across the web! They can be full figures, upgrades/replacements/accessories, transforming or non, free or paid, etc. So long as they can be 3D printed, they are acceptable here!

    If you are sharing a make, I would encourage that you link to where you got the files. If you know that the source has already been shared within the thread, then please at least quote the corresponding post.

    While not necessary, posting a short description of the object or an image from the object’s page (if you’re feeling generous) is encouraged as well, so that people aren’t clicking links blindly.

    If you are looking to share your own files, I would recommend you make a thread in the creative form first, then share the link here.

    I personally think that anything that can be produced and sold is an unlicensed 3rd party. And 3D printing is produced and reproduced on demand, so I think it can and should stay.

    just a suggestion that would be helpful. would it be possible for you to mark any section at the highest level as empty or something, so we don't have to click through and open/traverse it to figure that out? would save time from not needing to open empty sections as there's no way else to find that out until it's done.

    or perhaps do away with the "spoiler" tags altogether.

    That's difficult to say, as there are so many variables at play.
    Currently, I'm upgrading my printer, so I won't be of much help in the matter for a while. But, I can attempt to provide a breakdown of how ordering 3D printed stuff usually works.
    - As a common courtesy, if the file is for sale, you buy it, so as to support the creator.
    - You might have to pay for material for the person printing it if they haven't got the colors. Filament is relatively cheap, resin a bit more expensive. Can alleviate this by not specifying colors and allowing the maker to use what they have on hand, but that means it then has to be painted.
    - Time required, and number of parts. Simpler it is, the cheaper it'll likely be.
    - The condition can increase the price. The cheapest would be purely printed parts - not cleaned of support material. From that would be cleaned, and then the most expensive being assembled.
    - Then, obviously, shipping.
    If I had to give a rough - likely inadequate - estimation, at cheapest (You clean and assemble it), probably around the $100 range. it's a lot of parts, but luckily not too many colors. To have it printed, cleaned, and assembled, maybe around the $200 range. but, with every maker, it's different; this is but a rough guess. I would also encourage working out the details in PMs, as with many exchanges on the forums.

    I can understand that. I admit, what it have would probably work much better as it's own site - a proper library, where files can be tagged -, but I simply haven't got the know-how for creating such a thing. I figured this would work alright, as it allows you to narrow down your search so long as you know what you're after. Hopefully, the library shall be expanded as time moves on, and people share their finds and makes! I apologize for it being so empty and labyrinthine at the time of writing. I will be working to refine it in the coming times. Thank you for your input!

    EDIT: Having taken more time to consider the option, I've elected that the first post will keep the library, but, that as it is updated, the posts notifying what has been added will be split into accessories and figures, as you recommended. Similar files will be grouped together. Once again, thank you for your input!

    My custom 3D printed Emirate Xaaron fell off my shelf and (due to the nature of 3D plastic, I guess) broke in many places.

    So I had to fix him. I may just have another printed.

    Question: What kind of files are you all more interested in? I ask so I can get a better focus. Currently, it's been mostly on replacement parts, as I figure that's what people would be after the most. But, would people be more interested in figures and statuettes instead?
