He forgot Nitro Zeus never actually was released in Studio Series, too, just "KSI Boss". But then I'm unconvinced that Hasbro doesn't really consider many of the TLK Generations figures to be defacto Studio Series versions of those characters, so I think if they did release a AOE/TLK Prime it would just be the TLK Voyager repacked with maybe a few new paint apps like they did for Cogman.

 

They're aiming for bot mode scale, because that's what most people will display them in.

Because the toy was a robot that split from the Winnebago and had a weapon platform.

But was that how his G1 animation model transformer?

Because I could see an "unconventional" Rodimus be one where he is a space Winnebago in alt mode, and instead of duplicating the G1 toy, the entire Winnebago forms his robot mode.

Which would give him a way to be taller and not have an awkward "split" vehicle mode.

that was the rumor for Kup, Hot Rod was his viisor and sawblade - at the Voyager price point I'd expect something else too, like a Daniel with his rocketboard. and this isn't coming from me, this is just from the complication of rumors upthread, did @Jtprime17 post the round up?

If Kingdom is real, my guess is that before it's over we're going to get a few "G1 but they're beasts now!" beyond the guys who already share names with BW characters.

Looking at this on the main page, with the G1 picture. I kind of just want it to be an oversized reissue of the G1 figure, with a reissue of the SFC Daniel figure now.

the person who leaked the wfc leader rodimus figure mentioned that it would be potential divisive. im not sure what this mean. it could just mean that people who have the potp rodimus wont be willing to get another leader rodimus? who knows. time will only tell.

 

My first thought was that it could be an all in one transformation so folks wanting the gun platform trailer will be disappointed.

 

Business is data driven now, so I hope people that love BW or those that are tired of G1 put their money where there keyboard warrior skills are. How this sells will drive the direction hasbro will go.

It will depend on how these toys look, but I am interested in getting Primal and Megatron (i really liked his character in the show) since their MPs were good but those aren’t for me. Core Megs and Prime are bought to lead my micro masters and weaponizers.

 

Spread them out over two (or three) years. Sprinkle in a Blitzscream Seeker or Constructicon redeco as wave filler. Add the 1986 Movie to bulk up the line while waiting for the next movie, animated or live action.

 

I think it might mean that Rodimus will be a truck....with a trailer. Because with a trailer denotes it being complete prior to adding a trailer. Unconventional or decisive means something unlike what has come before. We've already got an armor up Rodimus so the trailer won't be used for armor. Rodimus may be a cab.

 

POTP Rodimus was a better Hot Rod figure than a Rodimus figure.  

 

People constantly saying that Snarl wasn't in the movie - as we all know he was. He just didn't board the shuttle with the others - the same as Blaster stayed behind. Perhaps if we got the scenes with Blaster leading the unit on Earth against the Sweeps, Snarl would have had more of a role in that. (The tiny shot of him in the Quintesson ship was just an error in my eyes).

 

They would still have joint/transformation lines, and I bet that they would be beautiful. Probably the best chance many will get to actually get some accurate modern G1 Dinos, so bring them on.
