I mean, Arcee in ER has the same problem.

The difference is Cyberverse Arcee *in-show* was designed to include the backpack. Precisely so this was "screen-accurate."

The Netflix show did the same thing. Used CAD models from the toys so they're the same thing down to the blast effect pegs.

I don't collect Cyberverse, but for this I'll have to make an exception.

This remains highly desirable in spite of the shellforming.

 

Looks pretty good. Just wish they'd announce more Cyberverse deluxes, I'm not interested in only having a single figure with that asthetic

Still not sold... but wow is there a ton of Arcee's lately! It's a wonder they didn't include her in the girl-centric BB movie.

 

- really they should be making more effort in show designs to utilize altmode parts in character designs. With a bit of back and forth redesigning, the curvy sides of the vehiclemode could've been an ideal source for the legs, which would allow the rest of the vehicle shell to fold away a lot more compact.

 

Definitely better than the Earthrise Arcee. She actually has personality and doesn’t look like a soulless G1 thing, and her backpack is at least marginally better than ER Arcee.

That said, considering we didn’t get a proper widespread Arcee toy until 2014 (not counting Animated Arcee’s limited TRU run), the more Arcee toys we get, the better.

 

ER Arcee isn't a partsformer like we thought, however the vehicle mode (although smooth) is lacking in interesting visual design. Which is flying shame that they couldn't have spent the extra time to make the car look good like they did the main body. At least this Cyberverse character is

ill get it for the maccadam parts but looks like a decent figure. she may be a shellformer but no more than other arcee figures, and at least this one isnt cheating like the earthrise one

 

I AM SO EXCITED FOR SOUNDWAVE. Prowl as well... Maybe to replace the Siege one I have. Looks like Cyberverse deluxes will still continue on which is good despite being the best figures of the entire line. As for Arcee, she may be a shellformer but looks really cute and...kinda curvy...plus she comes with the weapon which means you get not just her gun but Maccadam's club mace thing so that she can use that too! I'm getting this one instead of the ER one.

 

Just out of curiosity, by "cheating" are you referring to ER Arcee's fake chest? Because this gal has a fake chest too. There absolutely no way to compress her car hood down as small as her robot chest (not at this price point especially)

TR Arcee is still my fav.  Really carries the mold well.
