In terms of size, articulation, gimmicks, interactivity and overall quality?

I'd have to say WFC Commander class. It's only 30$ more then a leader class and is twice the size.

There's not a great answer for this as it's up to each individual figure.

Also, classes in one toyline overall may seem different compared to the same class in another toyline. Cyberverse Deluxe figures are definitely not up to par compared to WFC Deluxe figures. You get a lot more toy mass with Studio Series Leaders compared to WFC.

If you had to pick a single class, maybe Voyagers across the board.

If you have money, then Commander Class. I have both Jetfire and Sky Lynx. They're great figures and massive for the price.

Good paint and plastic quality, full range of articulation and accessories that form a fuckin bazooka and his jet ski mode to refer to that one time in G1, that never happens in deluxe scale so I'd say cliffy is worth it.

I have to say the deluxe class. They won't break the bank and they have some great figures in this class. I know WFC Cliffjumper is on the smaller side, but you get some accessories to make up for it. On the flip side, you get Hoist who is also a tad bigger than usual deluxes.

Commander Class is not bad also. They are bigger figures that are about half the price of Titan figures but also twice the size of Leaders. They also have a bunch of features and accessories that add to the value as well. I just didn't list it first because, unless you can catch them on sale, it might be a bit harder to lay down $80 over $20.

Weaponizers/Modulators. At first, they have cool designs and interesting compatibility with other figures to form huge bases and cool armor. They can also use partsforming to combine with each other into whatever you want. Despite being power mushrooms/base add-ons they do not suffer from Godbomber syndrome, being nice robots/vehicles/bases. Also, they give old titan-partners and Micromaster bases new life.

not at $20 for what your getting today. Too small, too hollow, too few accessories, too little paint, too many clip on wheels for the 20% upcharge from the Prime Wars era. (which is only a year and a half ago)

I agree that commander more or less gives you your value for your money, and think Voyagers are solid: Netflix Megatron and the Earthrise Seeker mold actually feel reasonably worth the price.

Battlemasters, Micromasters and Leaders are jokes at their price point, particularly the Leaders that are sub-voyager but packed with crap you don't want or a really poor excuse of a trailer.
Battlemasters should be $4, $5 tops, Micromasters $7-8 or come with a third one at $10. (they're so small and simplistic compared to what came before at the price range)

Question was "best value," not "good value." I agree that sub-deluxe and leaders are a joke. We only have two commanders and one of them isn't really out yet. Voyagers....eh. Remember that seeker mold doesn't even have landing gear and that's the fourth time we've seen that Megatron so of course they can afford a few drops of paint now. In the past I would've said deluxe and voyager were tied but they've clearly cut corners to reduce the price ratio between them (from 1:2 to 2:3).

Yeahhhh... you might be right. I guess the Voyagers still feel like they have more “heft” and presence to me?? I’ve been pretty disappointed with Deluxes lately, for the price (meaning, I don’t think they’re BAD, just that the value isn’t there for the $$): I just finally got a Reflector and that guy is literally a $10 figure in a $20 box... there is absolutely nothing that can justify his costing $20, he doesn’t even have the engineering that folks have used to justify Cliffjumper’s diminutive size...

if they were about: $4/$7/$17/$25/$40/$60/$120 I would have basically no problem paying full price for almost everything that's come out or is coming out. At the current pricing I just hem and haw a lot more and often "wait for the sale" or miss out.
(I always said $20 was the limit for me on Deluxes...)

Best price to mass ratio is for sure Commander class. Jetfire is heavy, for only the price of a leader and a voyager. He's sturdy, well painted, well articulated, plenty of accessories and effect pieces. Skylinx looks to be a little less dense than Jetfire, but he takes up more space and has a lot more modes. I'd say you're getting the most out of your dollar with a Commander figure

But deluxe is also great, $20 is an easy, right out of the pocket price, and a lot of the deluxes are really good. Not as much bang for your buck as a Commander, but still a good price for a fun figure

As far back as the beast era i would say the deluxe class. For examples: Armada- figure and a minicon- bigger figures often had electronics which tends to be a detriment, energon- great cons and bots cheap enough to get multiples for powerlinx gimmick. Classics- line was mostly deluxes

Theres a reason its been the bread and butter size class for 25 years
