Stumbled across this line of figures. They're 1:12 scaled, highly articulated and feature soft goods, similar to the Mezco One:12 line. Got the first release today. It's a pretty good figure. I'll post some pics tonight. The body is a standard plastic body with a soft rubbery material for the bewbs and butt. Articulation is pretty good, the figure can get into a wide range of poses. The guns are detailed and look good, but not quite up to the level of a Mezco gun. Magazines are not removable and you can't rack the slide. All in all, for the $60ish I paid for it, I'm pretty happy. Looking forward to the next release.
I just Googled some pics...they look impressive...lots of detail. How well to the clothes move when you articulate the figure?
I would hope they are good considering they are downscaling some of their 1/6 figures to 1/12. Seems like some 1/6 companies are starting to move to this scale. It'll be interesting to see.
So far, the only release is the one in the black body suit. The suit is made of spandex, so it stretches nicely when moving the figure. I'll try to get some pictures today, last night endee up being busy as hell.
No argument there. If anything they seriously need to improve the body. Verycool on the otherhand have jointed bodies which should be able to downscale more favorably to 1/12. There are other companies entering the 1/12 scale from 1/6, so definitely will see more choices and variety. Interesting to see none the less. Probably be less detailed than their 1/6 counterparts, but that's expected. Lol
Cool, and yeah the joints should help but just pointing out going from 1/6 to 1/12 isn’t an automatic knockout. I definitely look forward to more options at 1/12 though.
The Verycool 1:12 figures, at least the first one, use a normal plastic body as the base with the chest and butt made of, I'm guessing, silicon added over top. The joints are completely unrestricted.
Sounds like they did downsize their 1/6 body. The black suit did have a 1/6 counterpart it's based on. I'll probably dig around to see the comparison between their 1/6 and 1/12 version. Lol
I just got the camo girl figure last week. Another great release. The hood has a wire in it so it can be shaped how you like. The backpack has working straps (you have to put the pouches on yourself) and zippers. The rifle is very nicely detailed. I just wish the magazine could be removed. Still very much like this line, but not sure I need the schoolgirl one.
Some of these figures look pretty interesting but I haven't seen these before. I'd like to see more of their products, where can I find more information on their offerings?
I don't think they have a site. Most of the info I get is from other sites or stores. Just make sure you're looking at their 1/12 scale products and not their 1/6 scale. And if you have any further interest, there's other 1/6 companies that are diving into 1/12 scale like DiD, COO model, Pop Toys to name a few. 1/12 Villa does look good, but I can see the compromises they made when going down to 1/12. Too bad they couldn't bring all her 1/6 accessories to 1/12. Probably difficult to do already and probably be very delicate and fragile if they did. Hmmm... maybe if they downscale her in the black camo suit, I just might bite. LOL
