I'd say that's pretty much a dead cert, and probably confirms them as toon-accurate across the 86 SS line.

If they're doing that, then I wouldn't have minded new Scourge, Cyclonus and Galvatron etc in the WFC line since that's gotten Quintessons and Alicons etc. And maybe new Kup and Hot Rod. But would it be commercial suicide to have two very similar lines running concurrently? Are we supposed to make do with the SS86 ones to plug that gap while WFC chapter 3 becomes Beast Wars? Let's hope we get some clarification soon.

 

I think we all know what to do if Part 3 really is a semi-revival of Beast Wars- If you’re a BW fan, buy the figures. Even if the figures are a bit naff, buy them. If you want more BW stuff, you need to vote with your wallet and show that there’s a market for them.


I wish I got T30 Rattrap so I’ll definitely get a deluxe figure of him, rats are cool and there’s an inherent comedic value to sending pictures of a plastic rat to my mates. “This is you rn you wee rodent”

Sacrilege probably, but i really like scorponok as a throne room for the (great) zarak figure rather than a city. Would be all over a 3p Throne/accessories pack to spruce it up - it could be stored in the space the instructions put zarak in City mode

Spotted last night but a bit late for posting, gave me a chuckle!  

Speaking of belated things, modding Sludge's G1 gun for my Big(ger) Fella's mitts left me with a handleless OSKO Dinobot gun, so I drilled out a bit & stuck a Construct-bot 5mm peg on it, thinking I'd give it to Pterofire but the (now very securely superglued-in) post was way too long for his shallow jawfist port. It just didn't suit.
I did however have another spare OSKO blaster with half a handle on it (after experimenting with docking it down to potentially mod into Missile/bomb launchers for OSKO Swoop - it didn't work out and convinced me to go Shapeways) so, after some umming and ahhing about it, I finally got around to modding that one with a shorter 5mm grip!

Funnily enough, despite it being my Jam as a kid/teen, my main interest in potential Beast Wars figs would be Airrazor and Tigatron to add to the cast of Till All Are One, maybe some others for Eukarians... that and more fembots are always welcome. Black Arachnia too!

If anyone is interested in the other 3 (THF Tape Corps Laserbeak, Buzzsaw and Ratbat) I can sell them for £20 + postage. I haven't touched them yet, but the 3 I have all have surprisingly tight joints compared to old reviews I've seen, so I'd imagine the birds are similarly well done. I will check that they're all ok before posting, but PM me if anyone interested.
