Wow, this is awesome. I’d buy it just for the intro and end credits songs, but as a foreign release, I’m concerned the songs might not be the same as the US, like in another language or something. I have a foreign release of the Masters of the Universe soundtrack on my hard drive, and the opening narration is in Spanish.
Awesome. I remember that the French version of the intro song was a average length song, like 4 minutes or more.
Just an FYI... My French is kind of rusty, but I think it says the CD and vinyl will be made available to contributors in September, and to the general public in October. There’s also something about the CD booklet featuring an interview with Nick Carr, who I believe sang the intro music, so maybe it will include the English intro.
Here's a page with audio samples (click on "tracklisting"). The English opening and ending themes are on here! It doesn't have track lengths, though, so no confirmation of "full" versions of these songs. GENERIKIDS » La Radio de toute une Génération
Shuki Levy is amazing. Besides this, I loved the Pole Position and Heathcliff theme among his many others now that I think about it....
Well, I’m jealous. @GBglide Can you give us some info on the track lengths? Are the English versions of the opening and ending themes extended length?
At $20 it was pretty reasonably priced. Here are the tracks, the best are instrumental. They don't have the rights to the original announcer for the opening, so they hired someone else.
Where can I purchase this? Was there ever a full vocal version of Keep on Rolling? And is this the only Levy soundtrack to be released?
Depends where in the world you are. A quick Google should produce some buying options for you. Other Levy soundtracks to be released by Tele 80 - Inspector Gadget, Mysterious Cities Of Gold, Ulysses 31. Loga Rhythm released new recordings of Levy's MCoG music. La La Land Records released He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe.
I would have liked a instrumental version of the titles without the stupid beeping they put in place of the vocal - I kept hoping someone would edit the beeping out and re-upload it onto youtube - no luck so far though.
