As a side note, as the cubes are made from the same material as blast effects, do not store them on TF figures, especially painted areas.

Well, I guess I should've just exchanged it. Got him out of the box and went to pose his legs, and his right leg immediately popped off. I think the joint is warped just a little bit, so the mushroom peg isn't held in place and can slide out during movement. I can pop it back in, but unless I move the knee very, very carefully, it just pops out again. Feels bad, man.

Hard times finding the set and not overpay   The only places I could think of were BBTS or OhMyPrimus that are sold out for a long time. But if someone from the US was willing to sell a single small cassette then perhpas it'd be possible to send it via a letter instead of a package and not cost much? I'd have to ask

Just any painted surface needs to be carefully handled. Almost the entire Ion Blaster is painted. Hands are painted.

Avoid use of 3p accessories with oversized pegs. It's not worth breaking OP's thumb over.

If his butt flap comes off, that's ok. It is technically removable if the orientation is correct.

Only if you can still find him at discount. $60 isn't worth it. There's a reason why all the brick & mortar Walmarts discounted him to $35 almost right away. However, I'm thinking at this point you may not find him at all due to the discount, and I highly doubt b&m stores will restock.

The black play-doh is absolute garbage. Worse than real play-doh and stains your hands.

 

So I'm kind of on the fence about getting the Netflix Ultra Magnus. I have the combiner Wars version, and I like the fact that he's one piece and not just Optimus wearing armor, but his hands never seem to hold his weapons well.

 

i have no attachment to hubcap but im rlly tempted to get him for some reason
