    Hi All,

I was lucky enough to complete Abominus last year and like many on here, have been finding some of the areas lacking.

Inspired by some of the great customs on here, I decided to have a go at replacing his puny feet. So after a few weeks designing these up I bought a new 'lockdown toy' to experiment with.

    Here are the first results.

The resin is supposed to be violet but was pretty pale even before curing. Once fully cured it was a little more washed out but I intend to paint these anyway, so not really a big deal.

There have been a few little niggles, but considering I hadn't used the printer or software before am really pleased with the initial result.

I hope to get another foot printed this weekend which improves on the weak spots so far....

I decided to do a ball joint to give Abominus a little more flexibility and maybe on the next incarnation am considering making the claws hinged..... Maybe.

    Hope you all like!!

I have been working on this and now printed 2 new feet with an improvement on the ball joints size. I think I need to get some IPA to help clean off the uncured resin ( seems to come out 0.2 larger all round than designed).

The two feet together really help stabilise Abominus and the ball joints enable improved stances.

Working on the paint scheme to blend with the rest of the figure but waiting on the paint for now.

    Looking forward to comments

Hi. All figures are Hasbro standard figures.

I haven't posted anywhere as yet. Shapeways will be ridiculous price.
I haven't used any of the file download sites yet.

    Which method is preferred?
