I mean they have a point nowadays with BMB. Their products are just cheap KOs, hence my lack of support. I was supporting the superior quality figure before l, so now that goes to the SS with DNA kit. I know it's not MPM scale so it will go on my miscellaneous con shelf.

Thats a little to purple. In the movie he was nnoticebly more grey then purple, so I prefer this Shockwave, and only this Shockwave, not to be very purple.

 

I remember seeing this original comparison post on Baidu yesterday, according to the author, the hip issue is fixed, and the joins can handle the limbs' weight, means doing a pose won't drop.

So if I recall from earlier in this thread, other than hips that explode and a head that comes off to easily, he has some strang rubbery parts ?

I wonder if they will change that to stiffer material on the new version ?
I'm still very tempted to get it though... if only as I want to encourage them to make things I REALLY want like a Constructicon Overload overscale or some more Dinobots.

Speaking of Dinobots I wonder if a repaint of Scorn is possible - perhaps in Hasbro toy red or in black.

Wouldn't it be nice to have an insider tell us what is going on with Zeus and tell us how long it'll take until the second batch starts to ship...

Nonetheless I've managed to keep my pre-order locked in 'til the second batch arrives to see if they've actually improved anything.

 

Alright, so after about a week of fully handling, and transforming, my copy has held up! Its got some issues like the cannon arm, but usually if I have his cannon out, its going to be with his elbow bent so it doesn't bother me, other things are the feel, its not bad, but its not satisfying to touch, its got the heft, but not the strong plastic feel. The Leds are way two bright, hate that. But pretty much, I'm happy with it. Its definitely a gamble buying it. So I'm not going to deep dive into the second batch unless I have to.

But after playing with the Studio Series one, after I bought that. C'mon, we all want a big Shockwave from DOTM, but this just ain't firing on all cylinders. The second batch will fix the problems, but not the quality of plastic or feel.

You want a good Dotm Shockwave, just get the studio series, or wait
