Got this guy today, a little big but I’m okay with that. The hips are noticeably looser than the other joints, future finish for the win.
The only real complaint is the barrels on frenzy, one of them just comes out, just a matter of time to lose it...

Oh darn. Our local moose-courier station is closed due to COVID.

 

In this case it's that, to keep the shipping cost low, the seller didn't insure the package. They can't afford to reimburse me because they won't be compensated by the post office.

But I will keep trying. The PO is a LONG walk from me, so it's not someplace I can easily hit each day, but I can keep calling and working my way up the chain.

Loving this figure and the cassettes.
These legends figures from MS are just astounding. They are true masterpieces.
My only issue with B27 was his color. I do also have B27B inbound but needed this guy to be the defacto Soundwave.
So, I grabbed my Testors acrylics and darkened his blue. Much better now.

 

So I just got my tape pack from The Chosen Prime today. It came with the soundwave instructions, no tape instructions. What is up with the little magnets that came with the tapes?

 

Look at the underside of Soundwave's feet.

 

curious… show of hands of ppl that think those magnets are worth using and/or using them, and that MS should continue doing this with future releases.

 

I'd rather they did die cast toes/feet over magnets.

 

i have heard from a few people that they are completely useless. i just think MS was seriously struggling to make their bot seem premium AF.

 

whatever you do, just do not put the cassettes and those magnets near each other. it will wipe off the Hair Metal Compilation found in Frenzy, and Ozzy Osbourne Greatest Hits recorded in Ratbat.

 

i don't get why they included the magnets with the cassette pack and not with the actual figures in the first place.  

 

I second this emotion.

If they actually, for example, stabilized Ratbat in beast mode to stand on top of Soundwave/Soundblaster in tape deck mode, then I’d see some point to them.

If they’re just supposed to add some infinitesimal amount of weight to them, meh.

So, for now, I’ve left them in the baggie.

However, they did enable Snaku to taku this picture, and that’s pretty fraggin’ rad!!

i thought at first that the birds would have a magnetic quality in the plastic or their feet. when all the magnet stuff started i thought that would allow them to stick to the pins on elbows and stuff. but sadly that was not the case. they dont even work on their play sets it is just a bs nothing gimmick.

 

It would be pretty cool if MS were planing some version of a combining or armoring set of tape bots, but... then...

It would make more sense to just leave that hole open and, for example, have pegs in the belly or back of Ravage and Glit to form a pair of supper slippers for a combining/armoring Soundwave and Friends.

Still, if anyone is going to try that, it’d be Iron Factory and not Magic Square.

 

The tapes that have magnets in them are going to be bundled with a different Soundwave deco that nobody wants.

 

Anyone having trouble getting the gun to extend? It looks like it stuck inside and won't come out.
