Are we finally getting justice for Jazz? he gets a tough time as when he is not getting ripped in half in the movies he’s getting left out of the masterpiece lines. I personally loved the White with red, blue and black trimmings as a kid so I hope he gets a great toy with that colour scheme as previous recent toys have been a bit like sailors resorting to salt water.

It'd be cool if HasTak made Jazz using the engineering from that Magic Square one.

I mean, they basically stole (borrowed/commandeered/homaged.... Whatever) the engineering for Siege Jetfire from FansToys Phoenix. (This isn't a complaint or accusation, just a snarky assumption).

I'd be fine with this, btw

To the people who are sick of hearing about how bad the "Bayverse" is, the reality is you only have Bay and Company to blame for that, not the fans who recognize careless ignorant garbage. And being silent about it will just lead to more crap, to which I can wholeheartedly say no thanks. The movies should be slammed and loudly so.

The real truth is there is no Generation 1, it's just a fan term. It was, is, and always will be - TransFormers. And it will never be escaped. The movies were your last shot, and they sucked. Now after 35 years it is too late.

That's not to say you can't add to it. See Beast Wars. But to everyone who thought they knew better than what was a huge phenomenon in the 80's, well clearly we see how that has turned out. There are no massive influx of fans from the later generations and it's not coming. They weren't good enough and the sustainability of the property was partly due to older fans seeing the line through this whole time. The movies will lose more luster every year, especially with the recent social developments in the United States.

The best approach will be to work within the original framework for new content. You can still be creative, you can still do new things, but stop trying to overwrite and outdo the past. You're not going to outdo it, so embrace it. That's what Hasbro has finally done to much success (and without TakaraTomy MP and 3rd Parties exacting immense pressure they'd still be flailing about trying to reinvent the wheel by making it square).

It would still be great to see a real live action TF movie someday. There is still hope, but only if we reject the crap to date. We need a creative team that respects the fact that despite being a toyline, this has lasted 35 years on the backs of those who love it for what it is, not what it never was.

Thats quite cool. Do you think they will be emitted from WFC trilogy so different characters get a look in......or more likey try and make fans double dip..

Wasn't Studio series Optimus prime the same size if not shorter than Siege Prime though? And Blackout in the movies was supposed to be around 32 feet but when Grindor appeared in ROTF (who only appeared because everyone working on the film had assumed that Blackout had survived the first movie and put him in the proceeding film, which he arguably should have and they could have easily made it so he did) he was like 55 feet tall? Scale is really up to interpretation in the bay-verse. Either way I don't think Hasbro would miss out on the opportunity to attract G1 CHUG collectors to give Studio series a try by making the 86 figures fill gaps in their collections by making them scale with WFC trilogy figures, and get studio series fans to give WFC trilogy toys a shot by introducing them to their more consistent and versatile posability, and the arguably better paint applications. Arguably.

Then why is it listed at Amazon as "War for Cybertron: Earthrise Deluxe WFC-E31 Autobot Alliance 2-Pack"?

Jazz with or without door wings? I'm going to lean towards "without", but it'd be really cool if the figure is engineered to do both looks.

Kup and Blurr are questionable red-dos to me since the TR ones were pretty damn close to capturing their looks, minus the Headmaster heads and the Hasbro versions color schemes or lack thereof compared to the superior TT Legends ones.

Can't wait 'till we see a Starscream listing for this line and we'll know exactly what it is.

But will it be just a remold, a cel-shaded repaint, or partially painted in grey and black?

Well I never knew Kup as a headmaster. I think the TR figure is fantastic, but I'd love a version that keeps his head on.

I hope that it’s not a scenario like the Netflix stuff where it’s Siege and ER but cell shaded instead of battle damage with the odd new mold like Jazz mixed in.

I’m quite glad I’m not too invested in the movies even though it’s what brought me back to the franchise and has kept me here ever since, but I definitely won’t mind getting some extra characters that won’t be in WFC due to lack of space.

    Can’t wait for this!!!

Seems like Hasbro isn’t trying to finish off the 84-86 characters by 2022.

Idk... I really like my Takara Legends Blurr (even tho he had two of the same thigh piece.) This one would have to be pretty impressive to make me want him.

As for Jazz, we have got to get one without door wings and has his shoulder rocket launcher & car spoiler. They always omit that shoulder rocket launcher just because he didn\'t have one in the show. Really, anything to save us from that  embarrassment of Power of the Primes Jazz.
