    Lol.
I've asked Dalianjj to make use of that special protection paint on their figures that IT used on their ko mp-36.
I don't know if he did it or not. When i asked him this, was with the release of the first blue quietus.
I hope they did use it, because my purple T version of quietus has no paint chipping problems.

After i came out of my long collecting hiatus i was surprised to see how the market has changed. Back in my days (imagine a gramps voice) there were no such things as KO's and, God behold, Third
Party or Fourth Party manufacturers. There was only the "Real Deal" Takara, and that's it! And admittedly, first i wasn't so sure of what to think about Third Parties and i kind of didn't want them in
my Takara collecting world, but after some research and checking all the figures that were released i soon realized that a lot of those TP producers actually enriched the market with figures that Takara
hasn't done and that they increased creativity and design egineering on both ends. It's only beneficial for producers and collectors.
So i discovered FansToys and, although i'm not a Fanboy (yet), their style and look, next to most Takara figures, is the most appealing to me. This led to my first Transformers MP scale purchase after ten
years give or take. Sheridan arrived sometime in June and first i was skeptical because of the size of the box but when i saw the paint and took him into my hands i was surprised how heavy he was for
his size (that's what she said). After posing him for a while the one or another stiff joint loosened up and the posability was so amazing that all my initial skepticism was blown away. Is every FT figure so heavy?
Anyway, i guess this is some kind of introduction/interview and since Sheridan was my first purchase after a long time i figured i write a few lines in this thread. Or is there a meet and greet thread that i
    totally missed? :D

In behalf of the community, allow me to extend a heartfelt "welcome back".......

Yep, FT Bots will always have that heft due to their use of diecast. Guess you got the "beginners luck" unit since you don't seem to have suffered the leg screw issue. But if it ever happens, know that FT after sales support is top notch. Have received replacement parts from them on at least 4 different occasions.

Only downside to FT collecting is the insane aftermarket prices they command IF you get hooked on their stuff. Skyfire and the Dinobots, despite their universal acclaim, are being sold at a price that will make a grown man weep....

Also, they remodeled the kneecaps for the T version to prevent paint chipping. If you only had chipping around there and where they rubbed with in jet mode, I think that may be the answer.

Mine didn't rub the paint off at that spot.
I guess they either remold the knee like you said or they used that protection paint layer.

Left leg fell off on my Sheridan. Reached out to my seller, BBTS and they said Fans toys has not sent them the replacement screws yet. I contacted Fans toys and they said they already sent the screws to BBTS. BBTS mentioned that other customers had been told the same thing by Fans Toys. BBTS says they will send me the screw when they finally receive them, but I don't want to mess around with worrying if BBTS ever gets their screws. I ordered the replacement screw from Toy Dojo and they sent it out to me immediately. It cost me a few bucks for shipping but my Sheridan now has a leg to stand on. Thanks @ToyDojo.

Nice. Good to see that Toy Dojo restocked the screws. Not sure what is up with BBTS.

I got mine from TCP a few weeks ago and just today took it out of the box. It had a stiff leg which I unscrew a bit and voila, no problem anymore. I wish I've ordered another one to keep at my desk, I am really happy with this fellow. Hope the rest of the mini bots come out this level of good.

Anyone who got the version with the legs issue and fixed it with the screws, the legs stay on places properly, or they get less tight and floppy?

Also, the screws hole is truly a screw hole or it is just a hole and the screw creates the groove for the screw. I ask this because the first piece is a pin which works in a different way than a screw, isn't it?

Has the 2nd batch been released yet?

And does anyone else feel Sheridan is too tall compared to other FT Minibots... Hunk, Dunerider, SeaSpray etc? He looks a little too tall and lanky to me???

I wish it had more 5mm ports for weaponizer bits.

The 2nd batch has been out for at least a month or so, if not longer.

Blast effects would have been a nice touch.

Has anyone had any success in getting touch up paint from FansToys or actually finding paint that matches the red?

I used Testors Model Master Acrylic British Crimson with a touch of silver. Granted, I only had to touch up a spot about 1mm, but it was a good match.
