I definitely thought that the 6" Legacy was the first Hasbro line - makes sense then! Looks like an easy enough place to start out. Has Hasbro done any Zords yet?
So far they’ve only done the Beast Morphers zords, but a Mighty Morphin Dino Megazord is coming. There was also a Zeo Megazord showed off at a toy show in Europe but it hasn’t been officially announced by Hasbro outside of that.
The Zeo Megazord is importantly non-transforming and is just a large action figure. And the Dino Megazord is meant for a younger audience than the Lightning Collection. They've really been... lacking on the Zord front.
Rangers are cheaper to shove out quickly because you can use a lot of the same tooling for multiple Rangers. Zords are pretty much one and done. That's a lot of investment with potentially little return if only one retailer is interested in carrying them.
got in Ranger Slayer and Zeo Gold It's about to get crowded in there, yeah with the upcoming 5pk, green, and another Drakkon..... I def will be adding Magna Defender and Dino Gold. When this line started if you told me there'd be more evil Rangers released than 6th/Aux Rangers I'd prob have laughed in your face, but here we are, anyone want to share this crow?
Anyone else disappointed that Ranger Slayer didn't come with an adult Kimberly head with the short hair as she was portrayed in the comics? Especially considering they managed to give us a pretty accurate unmasked Drakkon head with a scar and everything instead of reusing the ponytail Tommy head. No complaints otherwise though.
I don't display them either really... but I like the idea of collecting them for some reason and all the Rangers thus far have come with one except for the Psychos. I know... sounds weird.
The psycho rangers and some other villains are his minions. As well aS stormtroopers that are power rangers themselves kinda. He copied the powers to use as a army
You've got his various Ranger Sentries which would make great troop builders. Then there's Finster 5 who is some weird amalgamation of Finster and Alpha 5. There was also Black Dragon who appeared before Drakkon was introduced but was later revealed to be controlled by him. Though Black Dragon wouldn't be a normal release since... even in his "normal size" he'd be more like the size of a Marvel Legends BAF by comparison (think ML Juggernaut compared to any LC Ranger figure).
I'm pretty much 97% zords in my collection. So the lack of zords has been troubling to me. Super Sentai, at least, is still cranking them out. But then, if the series gets adapted, I have little desire for the US versions. Hence, I've been taking this time to purchase old Megazords I've missed through the years. Just snatched up a Turbo Lugger DX off Ebay for 200. There are just some toys that will never see the light of day either as a reissue or a redo in Soul of Chogokin. Or, if BoJ did, I'll be dead by then.
Hm, I said to myself I wasn't going to open any of these till I have the full team. But Billy just looks tempting to crack open early.
Eh, to each his own, but I do like some of the Sentry designs... others are a bit goofy. Finister 5 is weird as fuck, but I do dig Black Dragon.
Crap, now I feel like I should have bought a Pink and Blue Ranger for my kids when I had the chance. Oh well, if Hasbro milks this brand as much as they do others, there will be many, many more chances to do so.
