Very impressed with the Classified figures, at least the three I found. These are coming out at the exact right time. Marvel shot it’s load and Star Wars is circling the drain of relevance; we’re just a clog slowing it’s descent. but these are fantastic toys that I think will catch on. Like RAH in ‘82, they have a strong brand history that gives credibility to the line, but that is simply a bonus to great toys that feel new and exciting.
Speaking of which, have you been playing the GI Joe War on COBRA mobile game? For the longest time, when I was playing Transformers: Earth Wars, I thought the game was decent for mobile, but I thought it would have worked a million times better as a Joe-themed game, with GI Joe & COBRA characters and vehicles. And that is finally here. I've been enjoying it quite a bit. Yeah, me too, unfortunately. I played them once upon a time but permanently burned out on them. I also would much prefer something third person.
I’m the same. While SW and ML still gets some of my $$$, my collections are fairly complete for what I want. Transformers as well. GIJoe is a bittersweet reminder that my collecting days aren’t fully over yet. I’m hopeful that SDCC will show photos or protos of Wave 3 and 4. I think that is the right moment to reveal what’s coming and level up the hype. Knowing that though, we will likely have to wait for more livestream announcements.
I have a feeling that game will be like Fortnite with Classified designs. I’m not expecting much out of it aside from maybe a glimpse at future Classified designs.

Dammit Hasbro , I was doing so well avoiding 6in figures in the last few years. Except for a few SW Black series. Now resisting the Marvel figs will almost be impossible when I can’t get my Joe fix between waves. Plus now there’s almost unlimited options for mix & matching parts from Marvel figs to contribute to Joe customizing. A helmet here, a cape there...
Did game developers stop adding the option to switch between first- and third- person? It seems like a lot of the late-90s/early 00s games had that option, and was an ideal way to please both camps. (You can tell how long it's been since I've played many shooters.)
Well my local Walmart I work at is to focused on Back to School so it looks like we won’t be getting the Classified series. I’m thinking of just canceling my BBTS preorder and not bother with this line if Hasbro can’t get these out to websites or stores properly.
Yeah, I mean, these shipping delays would be understandable if there were some kind of global catastrophe playing havoc with the supply chain, but since that isn’t the case *opens any news website* Oh. Uh oh. That’s not good.
We’re in America there is no global catastrophe. If 4% of the population has to die so I can get a beer and watch the NBA then 4% of the population has to die...We don’t see the problem.
All right so firstly, I know its not a Walmart exclusive. But I don’t have Targets locally I can check let alone as frequently as the sole Walmart where I live. Secondly, if I can’t get all five in one purchase I’m not going to get just half of the wave especially with how rare Snake Eyes & Destro are. Thirdly, I know there is a pandemic and its screwing not just everything but everyone around it. I knew there was a f*cking reason I’ve been trying to avoid this site lately.
