Forgot to answer. @gpilkay has the right idea. Those are the worst to fix. I can do a completely stable fix, but I don't think a lot of people would want to try. This would also fix any port that is oversized.

My basic strategy: fill in cracked port with a hard resin, let fully cure, and then drill in a new 5mm port. The opposite side of the crack can be reinforced with tape to prevent leakage but you still want some resin to get into the crack itself. Harder resins generally take a while to fully harden (curing is one time frame, actual hardening is another much longer time frame). Even resins that can cure in several minutes may need a week to fully harden. Using an oven can speed that up to a few hours.

A simpler idea, although not as stable, is like what gpiikay says but instead use clear 5min epoxy (misnomer if using very tiny amounts). Clean up any excess right away. After it cures, do not touch for at least a day (better to wait several days) before doing any further trimming of excess and plugging a peg in it. The problem with these cracks is that you can't rough up the surfaces of the crack to allow for epoxy to bind better.

I still haven't messed with my set yet. What quality control issues are there with the weapons breaking?

 

Pegging together the trident can lead to cracked plastic around the holes. Can't recall exactly which one(s) were vulnerable, but be careful and make holes larger as needed.

Edit: Generations Selects Seacons in color says Tentakil's trident-piece hole is too small.

 

My set only just arrived at my retailer last week. Apparantly (according to tfs-express) there was a 3 month delay from Hasbro Asia..

 

Mine have been fine without breaking. I dunno, maybe YMMV.
