I can't wait for the Black Ranger now. I'm hoping it will be Zack.

Shelf is looking a little crowded but one thing this photo made me realize is how many figures they have already released under the Lightning Collection line. Since I only have a handful of figures which I'm using to complement the SHFs, I hadn't fully realized how many have been released already.

I think they also own the rights to the other suits from DAIRANGER because they appeared in super megaforce.
I’m doing the same thing, although trying to find SHF black, pink, blue, and yellow for a decent price has been a bitch and a half!

I just got the white Helmet, It's nice.Hasbro did a great Job. But ut is a bit smaller than the Bandai Red and Green. It doesn't have the spring clips, just friction pins lock it. It looks nice with shiny quality white plastic. The same they use for storm-troopers helmets. The Gold is nice and nicely panel lined. Thinkgeek Had than on sale for $60 last week.

I see Hasbro has a new Red Ranger Helmet looks nice, but I dont think as good as the Bandai, The Bandai has better hinge and latches. It has more airspace in the front of the mask. For both Red and Green.

    You know what'd be funny?
Hasbro: Hey, we heard you guys have been wanting the basic Zack Black Ranger. Well, good news! We're releasing him in a 5 pack!

There is no reason for it to be Adam. After all Red had a prior release as Jason and regular release was Jason. Hopefully they follow that pattern. A 5 pack? Wow, it would be a surprise for me at this point but I see them using Adam, Rocky, Aisha and Cat if so happens in the least.

I don't know if this was the goal, but the first thing it made me think of was a clunky attempt to replicate the bullet-catching scene from his debut episode?

5 Zacks. One in suit and 4 in various civilian outfits he wore in the show.

that would be a good compromise for people who don't want to rebuy all the MMPRs again...using the replacement Black, Red, Yellow and Pink (maybe throw in a glasses-less Billy to make Blue different) in the fivepack...

If they ended up rereleasing Black, Yellow, Red, and Pink with new faces, all I can think of is that Blue would then be a hard one to obtain.

If we see Adam, Rocky, Aisha, and Kat heads packed with MMPR figures it will probably be when they do the Metallic armor versions. I could see those being an exclusive multipack.

Given that Adam, Kat, and Rocky looked pretty much the same in Zeo as they did in MMPR, I don't see a point in having their heads rereleased with the MMPR bodies. Aisha is the only exception. Though I guess if they do Metallic Armor versions, then yeah, it would work.

BTW, it's kind of interesting that Hasbro revealed Omega/Break yesterday as I'm currently watching Dekaranger and I just got to his introduction last night. Now I know what looks off about the upcoming figure, the V is too thick. His SPD badge should be longer than the V.

Either way, I still hope for Zack before Adam.

To be fair, I think the smiling Jason head looks like Rocky. I actually wouldn’t mind seeing both versions of Zack and Adam. They both got longer hair in their respective later seasons. Perhaps long hair Zack for MMPR regular release. Adam long hair for Zeo, and short hair Adam for the inevitable “Once a Ranger” exclusive with overdrive’s shield. Or they could go the comic route and give us another Zack head when they do the omega rangers.

    So, probably a quick question:
I remember getting a few of the 6" figures when Hasbro first took over the license, but then I stopped. Now that GI Joe is finally a thing I was thinking about getting back into it to curate a different 6" collection.
But I noticed the current line is called Lightning Collection. Is there any difference between this and the Legacy Collection of the past, or is it just a rename due to time passing?

Legacy was a completely different line than Lightning collection. Legacy was Bandai, Lightning is Hasbro, and the figures are night and day. Legacy 6-inch figures were closer to 7-inches, had roided-out bodies and lacked accessories. Hasbro's are standard scale and more show-accurate.
