Happened to me with figures there before. Target are assholes about that too. I raised enough hell to where a manager overrode the transaction. Number one, there should be no September street date for a figure that has been out since 2019, and number two, even if there was a street date, if your employees are dumb enough to put the product on the shelf and it’s available for purchase, that’s on them. If I’m able to grab an item off the shelf and put it in my cart, then I should be able to purchase it without a problem.

 

There was someone in the main target thread saying they were denied purchasing an ER Leader OP too, so not an isolated case. Hopefully they fix whatever glitch is in their system.

I'm still looking for a Netflix scrapface if anyone comes across one in the Hanover PA/Hampstead/Westminster/Eldersburg/Mt. Airy corridor....

 

Just scored a set of clones at Crain Hwy Target. They pulled one from the back for me. Don’t see any on the shelves.

 

EC Target is still showing the Seekers as "Not sold at this store" and there's no tag or anything for them (no endcap either). FML. Really hope they actually show up.

 

you're implying that target actually cares about stocking toys correctly instead of tossing whatever they have onto the pegs

 

There’s 2 Decepticon clone packs available for pick up at Rockville Target right now after just ordering mine. I’ve been getting lucky with this Rockville Target. Especially when checking their stock late at night. Good luck to any one looking for these!

 

Has anyone gone to a store and found the seekers when the website said sold out? Sometimes I question its accuracy.

Doubtful. Target has been using whatever in store stock they had to fulfill online orders.

Also they put out at least three new sets of Wave 1 Earthrise Leaders. There are a ton of them there if you need Astrotrain or Optimus still.

 

Towson Target has one Clone 2 Pack on the endcap.

 

The ER Leader Doubledealer is street dated for 9/1/2020. There is two case packs; one with Optimus and one with Astrotrain so they just street dated them all. I picked up a Double Dealer in Woodbridge, VA this morning. A few select stores got the wrong case shipped to them by mistake apparently. Had two more in hand that were on the shelf; got to the register at that store but they handled the situation completely wrong. They refused to sell them. By then the word spread and the other stores that got them pulled them from the shelves. But not before a few more got sold.

*Not a isolated incident at all. They popped up in a store or two in West Virginia too.

 

I find it amazing that they sold out of their own exclusive (SW/TC) before its' "street date" but then a product that's been available for months, they accidentally street date for months from now and are somehow gung-ho about maintaining that date now. It's so backwards. Especially when there isn't even supposed to be ANY street date for the main line figures. Just venting but jeez.

 

I had the same thing happen with a few potp figures. Meanwhile over at Walmart there's no earthrise figures anywhere, and their retro Ghostbusters exclusives are as hard to find as real ghosts.

 

Brickseek and Target's own website both show the Seeker 2 pack in stock at the Bel Air Target, but there does not appear to be one there.

Meanwhile, the Target did have a Doubledealer, which is mine now. I also picked up a Rung and a Slitherfang, but there are still two of each left.

 

Where was Doubledealer? I was there around 4:30-ish and didn't see him, nor the seeker packs. I asked someone there and their system confirmed they should have two on the floor, but he couldn't find them either. He claimed it was a mess up by either a worker, or the system. I think they're hidden, but couldn't find them anywhere.

 

I was wondering the same thing about Doubledealer. I went there around 4:00 PM myself specifically checking for a Doubledealer, and all that was on the end cap and on the shelf was some Shockwaves, a studio series megatron, and a bunch of Astrotrains.

 

I dunno what to tell you, he was on the bottom left of the end cap, right in front. I was up there like around 8:40PM, and I just grabbed him without any issue. Maybe he was in a box somewhere that hadn't been put out yet?

I can say that the end cap was also filled with Voyager Starscreams and Grapples, so I guess they must have stocked it more later.

 

I can say from my own experiences with that Target that their stocking schedule is all over the place. I have checked there for things in the past mid day, and the shelves would be empty, but then someone would come along an hour or two later and find exactly what I was looking for. So I’m sure they probably stocked the end cap up sometime in the evening.

No issues when you rung up Doubledealer? I know a lot of people have been saying Target is refusing to sell him till 9/1.
