Sigh... something seems to be missing from this picture.



So I purchased the Kronos set from TFSource back on 04 June 2019. I haven't gotten around to transforming Silver Arrow until today.

Unfortunately, I made a terrible realization... at least I think I have.

I do not see a dorsal-tail fin.

Does anyone remember if the dorsal-tail fin was shipped in one of the other figures box/packaging for the Kronos set?

Is it hidden in Silver Arrow somewhere and I just don't see it?

I've been desperately searching for ZB-04 Catapult ... Can't find him anywhere right now.

 

I was searching for Catapult recently too and about a week ago TFSource randomly got some in stock and listed them on eBay as well as their website. Keep checking and good luck!

I'll keep my eyes open. Fingers crossed somebody gets some more in. I have all of the others either in hand or in transit. I had to go the eBay route for catapult but that fell through. Then tried Uncle Billys cuz the site said he had him in stock ... That fell through too. The search continues.

 

It came attached, if that's what you're asking. It wasn't a separate piece that had to be attached.

 

Still my favorite of the 3. Not a fan of Constructor's exaggerated forearms and hands, and their Bruticus is well....last place.

He is a very nice bot. Way more budget friendly, and looks great. I got the metallic boxed set. They are more silvery gray then white if that makes a difference to you. And they also look much better in hand then the pics show. Plus you can get the whole combiner in one shot right now.

Will he go great with Fanstoys and other figures?

 

I'm also in on the FT Superion, but I'm not too sure if FT has a center of gravity slider on the hips. It makes dynamic posing the combiner so much easier. Sonething to keep in mind though, the zeta only looks good in alt and combine mode. Bot mode is so so.

Anyone with the new metallic version that can post some normal well lit iphone type shots? The only pics of this thing are either some terrible quality dark/grainy shots from a few pages back, or that youtube channel comparison clips and zeta promo shots which are done with studio lighting.

 

I just got my set from ShowZ so I’ll try to snap some pics this weekend.

 

In combined mode, I think he would go great with anything. I only have Roadking and Spoiler from Fanstoys, and to me they look good together. Bot modes look good as well, but a couple of the face sculpts aren't as good, but they do look a lot better in hand then the pics show. Enough that when I got them I wondered if Zeta had changed them. I really don't think you would be disappointed with him. I got mine from Show-z also.

sat on my ass too long on getting Silver Arrow, now, of course it is nowhere to be found. Was planning on getting him when the trailer for Gravestone showed up, so I guess I might still have time, lol. Maybe by then Zeta will be shipping out another round...
