This v2 toon Paean does match with toon colors accurately unlike the v2 toon Aegis.

 

Yup, got Aegis (toon) preordered already, and now I’m in for Paean (toon) once preorders open for him. Hoist’s legs always bugged me, looks like a Lego character made of cylinders, but the figure is accurate and the lineup wouldn’t be complete without him.

 

Wasn't Aegis toon released months ago? Is this a preorder for a 2nd batch?

Yeah, it’s a re-issue due this month (fully expecting a delay given everything going on). I’ve got mine through BBTS. I was late to the party and they were the only ones that still had POs open at the time.

 

The v2 cartoon version (white) of Paean is up for pre-order now at BBTS.

 

Torn. Love the look of the sculpt, but the white paint looks odd to me on the limbs. I didn't care for the shiny silver of the first release either. Would have preferred gray paint. Maybe I'm okay with it.

 

Still debating on this. Not loving the white at all. Wish they'd just do silver or even a limited run of silver (but make it so you can order the silver specifically instead of making it that stupid lucky draw nonsense they did with TB). Also, I just saw the price - $130?! What the fuck XTB?!

 

Really? It's $80 on that eBay listing I mentioned the other day...

Yup, some of these reissue depending on the demand of the character (smart but evil move) just going to keep jumping up in price.

edit- yup all prices so far for the toon 129.00, I guess its Baba or showz.

 

ShowZ has the price at 129.00 as well. Man, this thing was a good deal at 89.99. The new normal sucks.

 

Well, wasn’t thrilled with the price jump but his list of accessories does take a bit of the sting off it. Locked in my preorder. That’ll be one more character for the shelf I can check off.

Whoops, I should have clarified that I was talking about Aegis. You were probably looking for the Paean reissue, which I do not see on ShowZ. Apologies.

But, that eBay store mascotzone that @4249david posted has both of them for 89.99 plus $5 shipping.

 

I've just checked the China seller thread and they are currently on the good list.

I'm personally waiting for Tfs-Express to see if they're getting him in. At least until fomo kicks in!
