Nice. I have some PDFs on guerrilla warfare downloaded, but not that one. Is there a specific version of it that you would recommend?

That's a good idea! I used to browse those things at the Surplus store's book rack but both of the stores closed down a decade ago and I haven't really gotten my hands on one since.

It's based on some big assumptions, of course, that I feel would work out. But you never know until it happens, of course!

Yeah. All we can do is hope our plans work.
I wish I knew of a local surplus store.

Also picked up on of these too while I was at it:

I needed it to install one of these for this:

I don't have any guns yet (2 years to go), so here is my very special pocket knife (my dad bought it for me on a camping trip, my first-ever weapon) and two historical weapons:

Wow, there’s some nice stuff in this thread! I’ve got a recurve bow, a dagger, an old pocketknife, throwing axes, (and a Swiss Army gadget and a Leatherman tool LOL) .

No guns unfortunately – always wanted a rife.

I have suffered a setback in my attempt to build a crossbow. The prod (the bow part) snapped while I was tillering it.

Just bought this 9mm PDW pistol. Waiting for it to be sent to my FFL. Also just grabbed a lot of 1,000 9MM rounds.

For your Ammosexual Amusement, a happy couple...

C8 - BCM upper, Umbrella Corp. lower, Brownells and spares-bin CAR furniture, G&G tri-rail and Warlord Tactical buttpad. Not pictured: EoTech 552 with Laser Battery Cover addon, ESS Shift 2-to-1 convertible sling. To Do: (me/gunsmith) refinish furniture and buttpad in Gunkote Napa Green; (girlfriend) source and purchase Eickhorn B2005CAN bayonet. Other than the Umbrella lower and not using an Elcan M134/C79 scope, about as close as you can legally get to a Canadian Forces C8A3 in the US once the greening is done.
M4 - Colt contract-overrun 14.5" URG pinned-and-welded to 16" by Retro Arms Works, Aero Precision M4 clone lower, B5 SOPMOD stock and FAB Defense grip. UID Tag by Carolina Laser Works. Not pictured: Aimpoint "faux-M68" PRO (still in transit), Ontario OKC-3S bayonet and BFG Vickers sling. To Do: DONE upon arrival of optic.

The thing in the SOPMOD's rear sling slot is the ID tag from one of my own little creations, a QD-mounted flashdrive for electronic recordkeeping that attaches right to the rifle. All it takes is a QD sling-swivel, a Harbor Freight keytag, a small, cheap USB flashdrive and a USB-to-whatever adapter to fit your phone/tablet of choice. Assembly is as simple as you thread the swivel and flashdrive onto the tag like they were a pair of keys.

Ended up grabbing a Glock 19 Gen 5 FS today at Blue Label ( Military Price ) $420

Had to wait 6 hours for Background check -

5 :55 to wait in line due to backlog / 5 minutes to approve

Since the Battle Pistol I bought last night also uses glock Mags - will have a universal mag setup - Also have 3 33rd glock mags coming, along with the 33rd coming with the BM9.

Also bought 1800 rounds of 9mm and 5.56/223

1,000 9mm online in bulk order - $420 shipped for PMC Ammo. Grabbed another 500 9mm Winchester target packs (5x) at gun store and 300 223 (6 50 rnd boxes) - since I bought a weapon, I could buy more than listed limited stock at store.

Have about 1900 rds of 5.56/223 and about 1900 of 9mm - Selling my neighbor my old Taurus M G2 PT11 and giving him a 100 rnd box of 9mm at cost.

Got to shop at 10am - did paperwork for pistol - Grabbed ammo then.

And the shop that is shipping out the MB9 battle pistol has my FFL's info - getting ready to ship. So happy the weapon is local store stock, not coming from National warehouse. Should get end of this week/start if next.

It would seem online is the way to order ammo then. That's great! I hope your sidearm arrives faster then expected and with no issues.

I got lucky. But it seems ammo prices have skyrocketed to where some places are charging about a dollar a round. Ridiculous...

All these people panic buying. With any luck, I'll be able to find some ammo this fall when I have gun money saved up.

It's times like these when I am happy to use 7.62. Nothing has changed cost wise.. My gun still hates expensive US ammo and gobbles up cheap russian surplus with the tightest groupings of the bunch. I just went through 1000 rounds this past weekend with my friend and grabbed another case for $250. And the Vepr outshot his homebuilt AR. (Because of shooter, groupings were dead even really). Its pretty damn nice sitting on his patio though and just shoot in his backyard, then launch mortars for the 4th. Lucky sob.

From what I am hearing there is a major material supply issue which might not be fixed for 12-18 months, if not longer.

I just paid $300 for 400 5.56 .62 Greentip LAP rounds, and bought 350 9mm HPs, remanufactured, for $150 shipped.

At this point I want about 3,000 of 5.56/223 for rifle, and 4,000 for my 2 9mm.
