For me the lack of expression on Siege Chromia doesn't help things. Moonracer has this nice little smirk going on, Chromia is just : | If only they'd given her the shouty face she has in the artwork  

 

So anyway, I'm liking the look of this fella in a general sense, though I have no plans to buy it at the moment. It's got me wondering what redeco might await - Starscream is out as it'd be too similar in looks, Thundercracker is a probable no-go as he already has the Nitro Zeus redeco, so that does lean towards Skywarp, which would be a disappointment as I've already got the ER TC/SW pack on the way. I'd hope for an Acid Storm though. He'd look pretty slick in green.

I had never heard that song until seeing a Todd In The Shadows video on it a few years back, and quickly decided I actually quite liked the brass samples. You can take a kid out of the 90s, etc.

 

Yeah, I really dig Todd's analysis, I prefer the One Hit Wonders but having pretty much plowed through 'em, I'll dabble into Trainwreckords though they can get a bit downer - the Greg Allman & Cher one was an eye-opener though!
It's funny how he's a bit of an Anglophile for what is "obscure" Brit stuff to USians.

 

Same. He's generally pretty open and honest about the fact that a non-US artist getting a hit in the Hot 100 doesn't prevent them from having had a totally successful career in the rest of the world, although there's occasionally few things that make me smile. Like, for him in the US he keeps a narrative that boy bands apparently went out of style for most of the 90s only to explode back on the scene with N Sync and the Backstreet Boys, while here in the UK we went through an entirely manufactured cycle of one boy band after another after another right from East 17 all the way to One Direction with barely a break.

Also his take on that Oasis album was a bit odd to me personally, as I'm a) not an Oasis fan by any means* and b) actually quite like All Around the World.

*I always preferred Blur. Confidence is a preference etc.

And now I can't stop noticing the 5mm port right there in the dick zone. It's just begging for an effect part, isn't it?

That SS Blitzwing looks much better with the head painted properly. Glad it is. I may get it, it looks really great in robot mode. Jet mode is a little eh, but that robot mode..... I'm conflicted on him.

I do hope we get a Studio Series Skywarp, Thundercracker was a lovely surprise, and it'd be nice to get a Seeker squad that's similar but not identical.

Also, just gonna boost my prior post because I posted it in the middle of the night like a berk XD If anyone's planning a Smyths trip in the near future, would they be able to pick up a Hotlink and post it over? (all costs covered by moi, of course).

Couldn't help but notice the unopened TF cards packs, probably something of a TF fan malady now, I know I have at least a few lying around, I bought a bundle off someone to play it whilst my son was playing at a card centre (nice guys actually, although they could let the kid win occasionally to incentivise him....), but after flicking through them and the boy giving up Yu-Gi-Oh (again not a bad game really), they sit in a box with the comic packs lying unopened...somewhere.

A couple of barren weeks ended yesterday with a splurge on MP Gewalt/Blitz from a familiar friend, fills a hole dunnit?

No Wish dinos....

The Gewalt price is amazing but I just don't like the look of the figure.

Watched BSFs review and I agreed pretty much with all his thoughts. Those shoulder pads which arent actually attached to the shoulders bother me too much and those wings on his feet which dont actually hide too. Shoulda been a V2.

Picked up Fanshobby Athena. Man that price for an MP-esque figure is amazing

Random musing of the day, does anyone reckon they could get a Tracks out of the ER Battlecharger mould? There is already a precedent set for them sharing....

 

Upthread @Genetic has confirmed they aren't Exclusives, so it might be worth keeping an eye on Kapow Friday as they sometimes wait until the figures're In-Stock before dropping a surprise listing.
Also Games & cards UK have gotten in Selects before so maybe also worth the beady eye?

 

This morning I've been looking at pics of Magic Square Megatron who's release appears to be imminent and I think the mould looks great but I'm going to hang on and see if they do a metallic variant to go with the metallic Optimus I have because I refuse to own a grey Megatron of any scale due to a longstanding disagreement with that part of cartoon accuracy.

I would also hope a metallic variant has a Kremzeek AKA Grizzby that's yellow instead of purple.

Got an e-mail saying my new camera should be here sometime today which is nice & quick.

Whilst shopping yesterday I saw that The Last Of Us 2 is now out and I think Ghost of Tsushima is about a week away but I really don't know as I'm going to bother any more as they'll be like Red Dead 2, Horizon Zero Dawn and to an extent, God of War in that I'll play 'em for a bit and then get bored fairly quickly once I've got over how pretty the world looks.

I did try again with Horizon Zero Dawn recently but only got just past the bit where Aloy went through the trials before Fire Pro Wrestling World blindsided me with the custom move creator that made the game even better so I've been spending most of my gaming time updating my roster and testing out dozens of new moves, from the sublime to the ridiculous.....my NWO era "Hollywood" Hogan has the Fingerpoke of Doom as a special move and Death's Head can literally punch and kick opponents heads off!
