Is there a seperate thread for Irontrans IRV-02 King Leo. If so, I can't seem to find it.

Placed an order for IronTrans IR-V01 IRV01 Star Blade from Baba on 6/19. I selected the free shipping 20-30 day option. Today, 6/22 I received active tracking number that shows is has already processed through a facility in TIANJIN EMS, CHINA. USPS shows the shipping type is Priority Mail Express International.

 

Got this bad boy this week. He's definitely better than the MP Star Saber, though just a few quirks.

So question, has Iron Trans said anything more about King Leo?

 

USPS updated showing it is in Jamaica, NY. Hopefully I'll have it hand next week.

Ordered my IRON TRANS IR-V01 Star Blade/Star Saber 12 days ago from Chinese seller Baba and it was delivered today. It was shipped via EMS which was a pleasant surprise. Pre-covid pandemic, EMS packages from China would take about 9 days to arrive.
It was delivered by local USPS. Normally EMS packages require that someone must sign for them on delivery. However the USPS carrier/driver said she would sign it herself. After that the tracking updated showing it was delivered and signed by C COVID.

 

After watching a few videos I decided to check this guy out. TCP has him marked as "arriving soon" which usually means around 3 days til in stock. Put in an order and can't wait to check it out.

 

Still waiting to hear back from Bababobo about replacement parts from IronTrans for the sheared knee joint on mine upon arrival. Has anyone actually disassembled this guy yet; specifically his leg and knee sections?

Yep. She was a breath of fresh air. Over the last couple of years years I've had some other USPS carriers/drivers (women as well) that were straight up lazy trash. Thank goodness they've been long gone.

 

Already did yesterday, they said they'd reach out again to IronTrans because they still hadn't heard back from them after a week, so I'm gonna give it a couple more days, otherwise will have to look at some alternative remedies, but I was hoping to not go into the disassembly completely blind, not least because I think the thigh piece might be glue together, rather than held by screws but held off fiddling with it until I heard something definitive back from Baba.

 

my gripe on this is why all third party tf figures cant make their arm cut rotation below their shoulder? And becareful with the shoulders too. The back is grinding to the back piece when you move the arm out. plus one other thing is it can't spread its leg too much or else gravity will make it do a bananna split. I was scared that it toppled quite a few times. This guy needs a stand l

 

Damn that is good. I ordered Superator from Baba on June 16th and last notice I got was on the 19th.

 

I finally got around to opening my copy and I am very pleased. This guy is one of the first 3P MP figures that I've messed with in a while where I don't feel like l'm going to break him. Maybe my sentiments would change if I tried to transform him, but I never will so oh well.

He's a solid 9.5 out of 10. If he had diecast painted feet with a decent rocker, he would have been a 10+ figure for me.



He looks very uniform and cohesive with FH Ginrai and this is definitely making me want the Irontrans Leo and the FH Headmaster Juniors.



Masterforce/Victory shelf is coming along but man, that TFC trio is getting pretty dated.

Not really sure what you mean by the TFC Road Caesar getting pretty dated when it's a fairly new release by TFC, barely over 2 years old after full release, with both legs scaling great with other MP carbots, and it's fairly unlikely we'll see another attempt of that trio again for many, many years, with no guarantee the replacement will be any better. Will probably be even longer before we see another Liokaiser or Dinoking attempt, and I'm guessing likely never on any kind of accurate Landcross.

 

So, now that is about three months since the figure came out, has anyone experienced its joints loosening or everything is still fine?

 

I dare not, breaking 3P MP Transformers is my spiritual gift.
