Literally in the top 5 for most screen accurate SS figure yet. I give 0 fucks about the jet mode since I keep my mines in Bot mode all the time anyways. This'll be a good $30 bucks to spend

 

I will say this though, you are kind of calling the kettle black by saying Shatter is the better figure.
Both have one near perfect mode, and one not so perfect mode. Given most people go with bot over alt, I'd say Blitzwing is the better figure.

 

I didn't like Shatter enough to get her either. But she at least a clean alt mode. I like jets that don't have an entire robot hanging out underneath the wings.

 

I think Blitzwing is kinda cool and pretty accurate to his robot form, with the only exception being that I'm still having the feeling of disappointment when he doesn't become a triple changer and that the end result is that he's never named proper in the film. Guess "Seeker #205" isn't really a marketable name.

tbf I don't think it really mattered to ILM that Drift was a triple changer since Age of Extinction, only that in case they needed a cool Autobot car that can do some sick aerial shots for a scene they could do that. Even then most of the movie he was a car, and then just rode on a Dinosaur for the. There was no reason other than he could do it.

 

Id really like a skywarp out of this to go with ss thundercracker.

Awesome that the cockpit isn’t a cheat. Kinda disappointed that the nose cockpit didn’t have the folding transformation of the movie, but it’s not a deal breaker.

 

Jet mode is terrible, but the transformation and robot mode looks great. I’ll pick it up.

 

In general I agree with this.

 

I mean, I don't care why he was a triple changer. But he's more a triple changer than Bee Blitzwing.

 

I love this design and look forward to getting this figure. The jet mode isn't perfect but it doesn't bother me too much. The robot mode is all I need from this figure.

 

People aren't required to like everything, and the forum is for expressing opinions and reactions, including honest disappointment.

For people who only care about bot mode, this figure is great. But I like my transformers to transform into good-looking alt modes too.

 

I wish he had the Jet mode deco of the NYTF prototype (that grey on the fuselage is not pretty...)

Buuut, I'm more preoccupied with the robot mode, which is near perfect. He will be mine. And doubly so if we get a Skywarp out of him.

 

I don't get how Dropkick's helicopter mode could be near perfect, yet Shatter's and Blitzwing's jet modes deviate so much from what they were in the film  

 

Not bad.



As for the jet mode, I don't have any problems with it since I rarely display my toys in vehicle mode or upside-down.
