Much rather have a new Lugnut than Overlord. Leader is right, unless they add a lot features to him. I would be very happy with a large arm wrapping blast fire effect as the gimmick.

 

So in terms of what @catz has hinted at, so far most of it has come to pass but what's left?

 

3 to my knowledge, one a homage to a rid 01 character with autobot color and base mode, one japan exclusive in g1 also same deal, and one decepticon with base mode, maybe others but those 3 are the main ones i remember

The only RiD toys to have a base mode were Brave Maximus and Scourge/Black Convoy (his trailer). Fire Convoy/Optimus kinda had a battle station but it was relatively unusable. I remember needing to reconfigure mine to at least be useful to the Spychangers. Personally, I'd rather see Brave Maximus released either as a repaint of TR Fortress Maximus OR a pre-mold for a revised version that is closer to the original toy in terms of silhouette.

 

As Catz description of Doubledealer (an armoured car) it's usually not a good idea to be too rigid or literal in interpreting the hints. What you're calling a battle station may well be what Catz is calling a base.

 

1. Maybe Galvatron, hes a very famous con, probably the second most famous con ever after Megatron.

2. Not sure, I'm thinking in terms of Leader Class, some have guessed Overlord and that's possible but I'm not sure as he should be bigger, at minimum Commander Class but if scale be dammed, its possible, not sure of any other Japanese Exclusive base mode figures during G1 toy era that are NOT Titans, City Bots or haven't been recently done such as Dai Atlas who also fits that description.

3. I'm thinking it's Car Robots Fire Convoy / RID 2001 Optimus Prime. It would totally fit with the "Alternate Universe Optimus Prime" listing and it follows the pattern of recent OP hamages starting with Galaxy Upgrade OP, the Takara Armada OP, if this turns out to be an RID OP homage than we would only need a Super Link Grand Convoy / Energon OP homage and we would have every animation version of Optimus Prime from G1 to TFC.

Will we still be getting the Autobot colored Leader with a base mode that homages RID2001?
