Everyone starts talking about the availability or lack of availability of exclusives, when suddenly, Australian Collectors start crying in mass. I'm not gonna turn this into a Rant (There's a thread for that) but I just want to be able to get my hands on this things at reasonable prices. That's what I want. I don't even want to mention how much I spent on that Rainmaker 3-Pack. Like, bloody heck. My Bank Account still hasn't forgiven me. And yet it was still my cheapest option.

yeah, but it's still one of those little things that kills the "model car" illusion: even on a car with black rims, your likely to have shiny rim/matte tires.

(then you combine it with clipped wheels... ugh)

Yeah, I've been noticing that too. It seems to be a real, ongoing change. I don't like It, but I will just have to adapt.

I'd rather have unpainted rims than mushroom pegs. That really makes the toy look cheap. It's keeping me from liking the ER Smokescreen mold. At least you can fix the unpainted rims.

Are you referring to Thundercracker and Skywarp? Is there no release announced for Australia?

Neither Thundercracker and Skywarp, nor Pounce and Wingspan will get a release here. Just like Redwing, the Rainmakers, Pounce and Wingspan, Siege Ratchet, the 35th Anniversary stuff (Soundblaster, Prime,Megs and Bluestreak), the Micromaster 10-pack etc. Basically, anything that isn't an Amazon exclusive, standard Generations Selects or a Standard Release will not come Down Under, and thus, we must find other ways to get our hands on them. For certain things like Redwing, some Aus based websites can get them for a marked up price due to how they get them. In cases like Thundercracker/Skywarp and the Rainmakers, Ebay is probably the only way to get them. Hasbro Pulse doesn't do Aus shipping, and the new Rotorstorm has no official Australian release. Everyone was genuinely shocked that Sky Lynx got a release in retail stores (Big W exclusive right now). That being said, some stores like Robotkindom do ship here, so if they get something in, it is possible to get ones hands on it. But if you miss out on that? Off to the Bay. Scalping prices get a whole lot worse when you take International Shipping and a poor AUD to USD conversion rate, too. I think I remember saying I wouldn't turn this into a rant, but whatcha gonna do? The game is not easy Down Under... and yet I still got my hands on the Phatom Strike Squadron.

Yikes. I just checked shipping from the U.S. to Australia and it's $26. That's almost half the cost of the Seeker 2 pack.

It's funny, really. The fact that I got my hands on it gave me this idea that it was easy to get. I mean, if I could get it, surely folks in the States could. Then again, I pre-ordered it. Wasn't gonna miss out on getting all three OG Seekers in one uniform body for the first time.

It's an unfortunate reality, but it's the only one we've (probably) got. Out of curiosity, is that $26 AUD or USD?

7th birthday vibes updated. Vividly remember getting these three as presents from my Gran back in November '85.

Why is Fort Max wearing a nappy (a reusable one naturally, hes an autobot dammit, be kind to the environment) you ask? Because I got my shipping notice for Scorponok yesterday and he's been crapping himself since.

Can't wait to get Scorps in hand. He looks like too much fun.

Fingers crossed for the Blackzarak repaint to have some remolding to the head done.

Although, I would also buy the crap out of a Toy accurate/ HM series accurate molding of the larger head sold seperately via the select series or some such.

Damn I love headmasters. Hopefully whatever joys and surprises the remainder of earthrise and WFC III bring, Titanmasters will be part of it.
