I'm jealous that all these people got Scorponok already. BBTS still says the vague, "Estimated to arrive Mid July", and given how long it takes for them to process my orders and send me the product, I likely won't get it until the very end of July.

The trouble comes down that something like "pulse exclusive" I ALMOST jumped and would have gotten the Brunt reclour and accessories pack at the "early rebate", but the shipping almost doubled the price, I was looking at over 50$ for a figure... the shipping actually kills a LOT of my purchases... look at Nonnef now.. he wants a 50$ minimum for international (from 25$ before that I had trouble but managed), and then the shipping has also increased. I could overlook that, but he doesn't even carry enough items of interest for me to even reach that 50$ mark.

I'm at the point that I'd rather buy a KO from China with free or acceptable shipping than buy anything from the US.. I avoid buying from the US because we're being hit with some really nasty shipping changes AND then we get hit with import and other changes...I've known people that bought a 50$ item that resulted in close to totaling 200$ due to these things, myself, I've had some items that were 20$ that I ended up having to pay about 30$ more over these things.... And then from China, I've almost never had issues.

For Springer, it was a disaster over here, if you'd see the Canadian forums where most never did managed to get one, and should someone report seeing one, they'd all flock to be the one to get it... during his release, I got mine, spotted it maybe another 3 or 4 times, and I was one of the few that was able to claim seeing so many.

And I didn't state "you" for complaining about prices going up, it's just a very common comment on here that we see people going "OMG if it goes to 25$ I'm out"... while here we are at 30$ over here.

And I've paid 50$CAD for a Twin Twist (POTP) simply because I missed getting him locally while at 15$ because I was going to get him "next time" and poof, they ALL disappeared... same with Windblade, where both of them had shelf marmed for a good month.

For Power ranger stuff.. I have an original Megazord, and when the Legacy Dragonzord came out, I got it, without knowing that they had changed the "ports/connectors" .. so had to consider getting the no longer available Legacy Megazord.. and damn... it's in the multi hundreds... I'd rather say screw it and sell my Dragonzord and get the Soul of Chogokin for those prices.


That said... the hunt has given me a 59 Shatter but for Earthrise.. the darn little snake shield guy is nowhere to be seen yet... argh!!! I wasn't considering it until a member posted a bunch of freaking awesome pictures of it.

 

To anyone with Scorponok, could someone show Zarak with the TR Scorponok head? The one that came with TR Grotusque.

eBay probably. You can get him there for $200 dollars and get him in a week, if you want.

 

Hoist is a sweet figure, but I wish his arm articulation was a little better. Other than that though, I love it.

 

The more pictures I look at of Slitherfang, the more I think that I'll be army building... damn it.

I don't think that there's been any figure that's getting to me like that as I keep thinking of various scenarios to use it with....

Thanks for the advice, so all the exclusives will eventually be easy to find, and will be easily accessible to everyone, because all the world and everyone in it, lives in America and has access to Amazon America, and American shopping. And the only reason that people all over the globe are upset at not being able to get it was because they waited for an American sale that never came. Got it.

So let me get this straight, you kinda of disagree with springer and even rod cron being hard to acquire "because they where easy for you to get"??????!!! Just because something was easy for you to get in America, does not change the fact that it's hard for others to get in America or for the 99.9% world majority not living in America. Everyone does not have equal access across the globe! What you see is not what everyone else will see. How can you "kinda disagree that it was hard to acquire" for someone else because of your shopping experience. And not everyone in the world has access to Pulse.

Yeah i agree that international shipping is absolutely ridiculous. I get things from japan every now and then and it the exchange rate and shipping costs can raise those prices fairly quick. Never mind middleman fees.

how on earth PR toys can triple in price so quickly still blows my mind though. Especially with how many people ive met that give you dirty looks for enjoying. Its crazy. Lmao.

the generations selects figures are not amazon exclusive. My conversation with you involved figures that technically dont exist yet. When it comes to international shipping, i get it. It sucks. My convo with imfallen wasnt the same as my convo with you. Exhaust and greasepit dont “exist” yet so calm down and dont worry. Especially for someone in PA.
