Of the ones listed, I'd say Papa Johns here in CA but in IN, Pizza Hut is better. However, my favorite pizza is Monical's.

Being a New Yorker, for what Papa Johns is (chain fast food pizza), it's heads and shoulders above the competition.

Little Caesars is my general go-to because it's cheap. But it's a bit like betting on two sets of 12 on a roulette table. You've got a good chance at having some really great pizza but, about a third of the time, it just altogether sucks and you feel like you wasted money. Still better than buying a $5 frozen pizza and heating it up in the oven, though. And LC leftover cold pizza tastes the best to me, for some reason.

Over time, Pizza Hut has lost me. They used to have really good pizza but the quality seems to have gone down while the prices remained high. I'd rather eat local when it comes to cost.

Papa John's is the ick. Dominoes has okay thin crust pizza and that's it. Never had Marco's.

I've never heard of Marcos before. Domino's sucks ass. Papa John's is okay. Pizza Hut is good. Little Caeser's is my favorite.

For non well known chains, I'd say Godfather's or Pizza-ology.

For frozen pizza, I prefer Red Baron.

@Dachande How dare you diss the delicious cardboard-I mean pizza that is Little Caeser's!

    Hey, that's insulting to cardboard.

I also like Red Baron. Of the grocery store types it's one of the better ones.

Yeah well, maybe if you peeled the pizza outta the cardboard first it would taste better. Look on the bright side, at least your gettin some extra fiber. :lol : I do love Caeser's though. Yummy stuff. I wish they'd do stuffed crust.

These choices are all dog shit that shouldn't even be allowed to be classified as food - especially Lil Caesars & Domino's which should be considered hate crimes - but I nevertheless have guilty pleasure soft spot for Pizza Hut's pepperoni lover's pizza (and bread sticks) every few months. I know it's all probably made in a petri dish stirred with melted plastic, nuclear waste & self loathing, but goddamn is that pepperoni and buttery crust ever satisfying once in a while.

But as others have already said, the best pizza is never from any of these mega-chain franchises - it's always the local ma & pa outfit that you find out about through word of mouth.

This. Mountain Mike's Everest combination pizza is delicious!

Pizza Hut is forever on my ignore list as I suffered from a horrible bout of food poisoning the last time I ate their pizza.

None of these are my favorites (I like mall pizza, Mellow Mushroom, and locals like Papa Roccos in Gulf Shores, which might be my #1 choice), but of them, Pizza Hut is my favorite when done well. Unfortunately, they almost never put the proper amount of ingredients and/or don't seem to be able to cook them consistently well. Papa Johns and Dominoes are both very consistent, and I prefer the latter (so it gets my vote), though like both. Little Ceasers uses cheap ingredients and isn't great in my opinion. Not familiar with Marcos.

Short answer is, these are all terrible. I have no idea what Marcos is, taking a look at google there aren’t too many in my city.

shitty pizza chains like these are very inconsistent. I’ve been to Dominos that are fantastic, and ones that are trash- same with papa johns, little ceasers, etc. I suppose as a Metro Detroit resident I should prefer little ceases, you know because we have a MASSIVE STADIUM branded after it, but its not quality food at all. I also see a lack of Jets and Hungry howies here, which are also both bleh brands, but hugely popular around here. If I had to choose, There is one dominos location near me that makes a decent thin crust- again, it depends on the location. If you asked me that question when I lived with my parents, the answer would be Papa Johns

I live in an area with fantastic local pizza places and upscale pies that blow these out of the water, and honestly I think it’s worth spending the extra dough (haha) to get a quality pizza. 9 out of 10 times I’ll choose something like this over one of these chain places. But if I want something affordable, I would go to MOD or Blaze over these. Better ingredients, made the way I want, and much better environments if I’m trying to eat there at the restaurant.

I think a better poll would have been what your favorite style of pizza is

I'm partial to the Weis rising crust three meat pizzas. But I think they don't always get "their" pizzas from the same vendor so how the toppings work out is hit or miss.

Personally my order of preference has all these way down the list...

1 La Vals (local mom n pop)
2 Little Star (local deep dish)
    3 Round Table
    4 Papa Murphys
    5 Mod pizza
    6 Blaze pizza
    7 Mountain Mikes
    8 Little Ceasars
    9 Pizza Hut
    10 Straw Hat

Dominoes and Papa John are somewhere below 'nah, I dont even really want pizza...how about Taco Bell?'

I honestly just had that last night. Stopped there after work for some groceries and grabbed one of their pizzas.
    Yeah, quite good.

Dominos is my go-to as far as national chains go. I really like Marcos but I find their crust to be too thin. Its been a while since I've had the other three.

I like Giodrinos. Unfortunately I don't think we have any here in Florida. Unos is pretty good though.
